Hate to say it but it looks like you may have broad mites.. very common in your area.. infact the whole bm epidemic seems to have its epicenter in a socal club that was handing out infected clones. (unknowingly)

Gonna need a scope to see them and check out the bm thread. If it is bms my advice is to kill everything, get rid of all the media. do a really deep clean in, out, above and under your tent. do some heat treatments, get the whole area really hot and make them hatch! then sprout some your beans and start fresh and order swirskii mites as a preventative.

toxin from bms can linger for extended periods of time.. not worth keep plants ime..

Good luck pm me if need be

The damage has increased and you may be right...
I have a 20x eye glass and have been looking but cant seem to find anything...

The twisted leaf and outward sings point to BM....

Well aint that just a buzz kill...

:puppydoge

I just spent 12 hours grinding 22 ounces and was hoping to go in the tent and see things getting better...

Well, hell.... Got me some chewing to do.... hummm....

:chin:

Thanks HL..
I've been to busy to problem solve what Ive been seeing and thought I had it under control...

I would not have really gone red alert for a few more days and you may have just made the difference between dead grow and battle won... :respect:

:rtfo:

I hear the drums of war beating loud...

I am not totally un prepared...

I gotz me some

SNS 217C Concentrate Spider Mite goodness on hand....
Im only 2 days into flowering...

Hummmm.....

IDK....

I sure could use a couple months off...
I just got my highest electricity bill ever and $ is real tight ATM...
Which would be an issue to replace the medium....

If I try to fight it and go back to vegging I would most likely :

Pick 60-70% of leaf and most small branches...
Treat with spray..
Next day get the tent up to 110+ for (? long)
Treat the following day.

Wait 3-5 days and do the cycle again....
If they lived...
Wait 7 days and flip....

Talking another month... Hummm.....

Not looking for Hemi BH...lol

I don't think treating that aggressive while in flowering mode would be wise....

ok.... Chew chew chew....

Perhaps simply treat and see if it gets worse...
Should only take a week or so to really kill the ladies if its BM...

What about keeping a flood in the pool for a period of time....
Say 30 minutes or so...
I can flood the pool and keep a constant level...

Would that help clean the CC ?

How long would I heat things up ?

Man.... im all over the place on this one..
Challenge or vacation....

Chew chew chew...

This is a tester run as well...
Lots to think about & No time to think about it...

Guess Ill have to think on it...
Been smoking finger hash all day..
Thinking is going a little slow motion ATM....

That grinder you're using for seeds, is it just a standard nut grinder you'd normalyl use in the kitchen?

Now as for BM, go nuclear with no mercy. I highly recommend hitting them from several angles. Reduce the amount of plant material in your room, spray with the mite killer, and grab some bug bombs (I prefer the prescription treatment brand total release foggers). I like to do things on a three day cycle for mites. Days 1,3, and 6 you spray everything with the mite killer. Days 2,4, and 7 you bomb. It's never a bad idea to cycle two mite killers, say days 1 and 6 you use mite killer #1, then on day 3 and 9 you use mite killer #2. Or you could take a vacation

Yep its a nut grinder...
Perfect as it doesn't break the seeds...
I lose maybe 1%....

Looking for a bigger one though..
Takes flipping forever... Thought about hooking up a drill to it...lol
Might chop the seeds at high speed though so I just smoke more and watch WW2 in color for hours on end.. lol

I dont see any webs, bugs, bug poop or anything...

Seems like it started when I added the Vap D...

Having it pointed right at the ladies...

Is there any chance the Vapor could be causing VPD issues and cause these symptoms ?...

Or am I just wishful thinking here.?...

What the hell is a vap D? What have you been putting in it to be vaporized? Looks like bug damage to me though, possibly ants. Those bug bombs I recommended have killed every bug I've encountered in the last ten years, so whatever it is, those will likely kill it...... and any other insect unluckly enough to find it's way into your room for a week or two after

This thing kicks out a really fine mist...

I sprayed the ladies with SNS 217C and added a little to the Vap for good luck...
Turned off all fans and exhaust...
Just turned the fans and exhaust back on and im
Waiting a hour to turn the lights back on.

Ill be getting me some bug bombs and It looks like Ill need to be cutting BH 6..

Took her out of the room before spraying BTW.

What magnification are you at.....cuz I think I see stuff, specifically hatched eggs..

I suggest starting here
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=228387

You need to educate yourself about these critters, they are no joke. People in my area move houses and get rid of ALL OF THEIR EQUIPMENT because they didn't know how to properly deal with them.

Take clones, go nuclear on them and start fresh, unless your really attached.

Also you have to keep in mind all the residual poisons and if they are in your seeds, flower, trim etc....

I think that your pools/ppks will grow to fast not giving you enough time to let the pesticides break down by the time harvey comes....

Make sure they aren't on any plants outside if it is bms...

good luck..

Strange shit though...
I just bleached and ozone treated this tent before placing the ladies in it...
I kept the medium mix in the house as well... Just to be safe...

Whatever it is... Must have hitched a ride on me from the yard...

Ill pull fans and bomb em tomorrow...
I feel better for having done something(spraying) before going to bed...

Should I place them back to 18/6 for a week or so or keep them 12/12 ?

Your looking at the silver in the close ups I take it...
The camera is at x3
I took a close look with the 20x lens and it looks like the same silver hairs found on the stems from the get go.. SSH mom had the same...

Then again I dont have a high enough magnifier to really tell...
Could be eggs as well...

Everything is a chance to be educated for me and if they die... I will survive to grow again...

I do worry about the chems in flower but figure 2 days into flowering should be ok...

I dont pretend to know more than Ive seen and Ive fought the borg my 1st year so Im just looking for things Ive seen before....

I would be just as likely to grow the B mites out and let them give me a good show as to cull the grow and start over..

Its not so much about smoke or seeds for me as education and experience...
I have read the BM link a few times over the past couple years...

My problem is im testing some killer gear and need to keep them safe...

Chew,chew,chew.... :thank you: HL... Glad to know ya got my back and helping keep a eye on things for me...

Need me all the help i can get and im ok with that...

To high for a ego and besides... Its all gravy at this point... :ying:

Look under the x....pretty sure those are hatched bm eggs. i could see 3 right off the bat and then possibly a couple more upon a more conscious inspection.

When I zoomed in I saw even more, and on other places of the leaf, I couldn't save a zoomed pic for some reason...your gonna need a more powerful scope.

BMs are no joke, get rid off em, before they try to take you out. Read through that thread and look at how magnified the pics are. compare the size of the hairs...

I try to be a nice guy but im stern when it comes to bm and ra's..

Their toxins can affect genetics and could affect your seeds potentially..the term "dud" is applied to a bm free plant that still has lingering effects from the toxins, sometimes months later...

honestly though im no entomologist, so nothing here is solid facts..

Damn man they look so good and green and big, sucks you got a bugger problem ai dont have much experiance fighting pest as im lucky to never get any but I usually ttreaty ladies to some floramite sc and 3 in 1 safer once or twice in a cuts cycle.

Hope you get it figured out and are able to keep em. Would suck to see you have to throw it all away now.

ok,ok... I give...

Went in and took a look...

HL is spot on... More damage done and they look sad...

Not going to waste time or $ on these...

Damn shame too... I really wanted a BH smoke out...

Going to cut and toss them today...

I turned off all fans and will cut them in low light then take everything to the dump...

As for the medium....

Is there no safe way to treat this ?
Say,toss in a trash can and leave under water for a month..lol
Wouldn't that kill anything ?....

You've got to know when to grow 'em
Know when to cull 'em
Know when to puff away
Know when to run
You never count your buds
When you're sittin' in the circle
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the growing is done...

I took em out root ball and all...
