Greetings,

This is a great thread for this time of year. Nice pictures everyone.

I feel sorry for the S. Oregon and Northern California growers with all these early rains. I'm glad I did not grow outside this year. Last year was perfect weather for my one outdoor plant. I'm planning on growing outside again next year, so I hope the weather will be like last year. Hoping for a rebound of summer weather for all you growers this year.

Good Luck,

ThaiBliss

Its raining today in my neck of the woods, very welcomed.
until the storms start one after the other I'm not worried.

I'm sure the water washed all the thc off the plants.

Hello all,

Love the view...

I see that the rain was a tad rough a few of the girls.

I used the plastic trellis this year and the rain impact was much less than last year. I have fallen in love with it.

It helps in spreading out the colas for better sun exposure.

It definitely helps support the plants.

Anyway, was out in the garden today with my dopescope and the trichs are nearly 95% cloudy. So the rule of thumb as it were is if you think they are ready...wait a week. Which works for me in that this is the last furlong when the magic really happens and they explode.

Yet, the desire to harvest is motivated by anticipation and fear of mold/PM or rippers compounded with the desire to yield MORE has me stressed.

Mendo, how are you going to deal with the trimming this year? Do you wet trim or dry?

The Fiskars brigade have descended upon the area looking for work...have you looked on Craigs...list lately...many ads for trimmers though it seems sketch.

I am going to try dry trimming this year.

Phhhhhh Rain, I thought I just foliar fed heavy.
Everyone is fine, not a single broken branch.:tiphat:

The past 2 days I've gone threw everything with a eagle eye.
And this year is later than last year for me.
1 plant this Friday.
Everything else hurry up and wait.
Buy the 10th it should be getting busy.

When to harvest and how is the hardest decision.
When to pick stress me out the most.

Every situation is different wet/dry trim it all depends on what resources you got. I have trimmed every way imaginable. Some of the best times of my life have been at the trim table.

I have a trimming work flow with the right crew we can do some damage. We will see how we do this year.

Have not checked CL. I could not go that route. Unless they want to be Shanghaied.:moon:

Wow mendo, that cheese x chem4 really does belong on the short bus. I love growing from seed, but it hurts when an entire plant turns out to be a dud. I can only imagine that is amplified when using 800gal pots. I have two plants that turned out like your cheese x chem4, and they are being turning into oil. I don't have time for trimming plants like that.

What strains/plants are looking like your favorites?

Hope your season finished as strong as you started, fantastic thread.

Things are finishing strong! Trim camp is ready to go! We have the Hilton on the hill!:woohoo:

Getting a dud cross sucks BUT on the flip side you get some stars!

That cz x c4 still has a while to go maybe a strong finisher?
But the way the buds are forming it looks bad.

Lost of favorites!
The BEST one is the SKY fem! 11'+ Tall and 8' wide.
Jurassic sized buds! Frosty and Stinky, like vanilla fruit kush!

Others look great its really hard to decide.

Blue dream s1's look fantastic!
One is almost ready!! smells like blueberry! indica dominate pheno.

The cheese s1's are smelling amazing!! One has HUGE colas!

The BOG's are developing big buds but no smell!
I hope they get the smell profiles soon. Buds are starting to stack thick!! But no smell!! which sucks cuz I cant wait to smell the sour bubble!!! should be good!

The Mendo dream's are nice some have the sour pheno others smell like grape candy!

The chem 4's are coming in FROSTY and big. But are 3-4 weeks from being done.

The romulan grapefruit x mendo dream are crazzy! they will be heavy weights when done. So frosty and sativa dominate.

One mendo dream x bubba kush needs to stop turning purple or its going to end up black! The only green on the plant are the leafs. Buds are purple and white, its weeks out.
