drip clean is revolutionary, i dont know why more people are not using it. it does not cost much and you use .4ml per gallon.
i run drip clean throughout my whole grow with no flushing. my yields and quality are phenomenal, just cut a plant last week that yielded 330 grams in a 5 gallon smart pot.
use drip clean, forget about clearex!

This thread is pretty old, but good info about Drip clean. Nice yeild on the 5 gal Smart pot!
How long did you veg that plant? What do you think about the Superoots Air-Pots?

drip clean is fairly pointless. used it for years then stopped. better plants without in coco.

even with drip clean u should flush every 4-5 waterings with 200ppm..

its good if you water to waste with lots of runoff or use drip lines tho. just pointless in a medium.

i also think it makes wierd lock outs in the medium increasing salt build up over time cause plant cant use the nutes.

but drip clean is waste of $$

10% Fairy Tears, 30% Unicorn Piss, 5% Irish Rainbow, 55% water.

Seriously though, I think it's fulvic acid, a surfactant, and saccharides. All designed to chelate nutrients and improve the "wetness" of the water.

You do not need the stuff.

I use pekacid/ dripclean its like $10 a pound if you make your own, 400g of pekacid to 1 liter of water. I noticed my end product taste very smooth from using dripclean. My plants never burn, and my blumats never clog.
