whos growing outside in 2013??

Hard to say without a pic, but if there are numerous tiny holes it's probably capsid bug damage. Caterpillars tend to munch bigger holes and stay on the plant somewhere. If it is capsid bug damage don't worry too much as there's not much you can do about it and your plant should outgrow the damage and recover.

Thanks for the info, I will try to borrow a digi cam and post a pic. There are lots holes but seems to be growing well.

Bugs

Finally got round to getting some pics of bug damage today, damn it was hot, hope it keeps up. Gave her a spray of Pyrethrum that I got cheap from B and Q, hopefully will help.
Does anyone think this is down to caterpillars or capsid bugs? The brown rings around the holes make me think capsid bugs which I never even heard of till Dipper said, thanks Dipper.

Iv got about 8 strains out, some from seed some from clone, looking forward to the results:)
But the worst thing is having them in my garden so I see them every day so they look like they are not doing anything lol

Been growing outdoor uk only for best part 25yrs . Plants/seed has developed tremendously thanks to dedicated outdoor growers UK & N Europe . Had some very good harvests & some poor ones , some years you just get lucky with the weather & it comes off .
Lets see what this year will be , despite a good summer it`s all down to early autumn , rain holds off I may be lucky .

Never forget the Canadian breeders, they far surpass us to my way of thinking anyway.

thats a good idea to plant with mint to help disguise the odour or did you plant the mint yourself aswell mate?

Thats not mint mate, its nettles, heres a pic from a previous crop so you can see how they blend in,strim your nettle bed right down to the bone in may, bang your clones or seedlings in,then leave them to their own devices, the nettles rise again and camo your plot, those plants cant be seen from 70-80 yards, they blend right in :tiphat:
