Strain/Breeder: Big Bang Autoflower/ Greenhouse Seeds
Harvest Time: July 23
Seeds sprouted: April 6
Latitude of Grow: 47N
Location: Pacific NW
Average yield: 25 grams
Height: 3/4 meter
Mold: a little on the sativa phenotype
Potency: Indica pheno 6 Sativa pheno 7 Not bad for an autoflower
Year of grow: 2013
Grow Notes: began flowering two weeks before summer solstice. Sativa pheno was sweet and slightly fruity. Despite the small yield, early harvest has me interested in other autoflower strains.

Strain/Breeder: Autoxtreme/ DutchPassion
Harvest Time: August 19
Seeds sprouted: April 20
Latitude of Grow: 47N
Location: central Europe
Average yield: 68 grams
Height: 1,2 meter
Mold: none
Potency: After letting this autoflower flower till most trichs are amber, it gives a strong body high.
Year of grow: 2013
Grow Notes: The smell is a bit fruity, but its taste is nothing special. I could get even more out of it with some organic fertilizing and more watering, but for a AF it did real good. I liked that it is so fast and still very sativa like when you look at the buds. In case you are facing plant robbers and bad autumn weather conditions in your country, this is a great strain to have. You can smoke some cured stuff when your friend is having a nervous breakdown due to having been robbed by a thief, late autumn rain or even snow.

Really, really good ganja. During the flowering period, the plants had a BEER(Heineken to be exact) smell. When the plans reach the final weeks of flowering they took on a honeydew melon scent that blended with the pale ale beer smell.

The plant likes alot of fertilizer. Becareful to flush the excess salt build up of the heavy fertilizer at least 4 weeks before harvest.

It is a beautiful plant to watch as it grows. It gave me many positive vibes during its life cycle.

KALASHNIKOVA Outdoor Harvest

KALASHNIKOVA Outdoor Harvest

Strain/Breeder: KALASHNIKOVA - Green House
Harvest time: October 25, Day 63 of flowering
Latitude of grow: 33
Location: Southeast USA
Average yield: 6 ounces
Mold?: no
Potency: 8
Year of grow: 2013

One plant started very slowly and grew slowly until flowering began. The plant really took off during flowering and created hard buds that very sativa in shape and growth pattern, that may have been because of the AK-47 influence in its genealogy.

During the vegetative stage and 80% of the flowering stage, the plant smelled of metalic elements and lime. The last 2 weeks of flowering, the scent tranformed into grape and lime scent. During the drying phase KALASHNIKOVA had the strongest scent of the all the ganja varieties in my harvest. The high grows more and more interesting, now 3 weeks into curing. See the smoke report next week for full details of the 4 week cure.

SPOILER ALERT: Chakras are activated and radiating.

This was a very interesting plant to grow. It was very fertilizer hungry in the vegetative stage. In the vegetative stage is had broad INDICA leaves. In flowering stage, all new growth had thin sativa leaves, which can be seen in the picture. The leaves took on an red-orange autumn color, in the last 2 weeks. The buds turned puple in the last 3 weeks of flowering, due to cooler night tempatures of lower 40's Farenheit.

The smoke is smooth and mostly physical. The mind relaxes, you don't get sleepy. The physical part feels light an electric trenchcoat that starts in the core of the torso, where the heart and throat chakras are, then spreads outwards to envelope the whole body from head to foot. The physical high lasts for an hour and then ramps downward into a mellow, easygoing mental high that lasts for another 3 hours.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Strain/Breeder: CJ x SB ix1 (LouDog420)
Harvest time: October 1-15
Latitude of grow: 42
Location: NE
Average yield: 4-8oz
Mold?: very minimal, indica phenos finish earlier but are more prone to mold
Potency: 8
Year of grow: 2012 - 2013

Great plant for the outdoor, very good branching, produces nice long colas with enough internode spacing that helps to keep mold away. The indica phenos finish earlier and can turn purple but will mold more easily. The more sativa phenos finish early October. Producing a bunch of golf size nuggets from top to bottom. Look for the light green phenos! This is my goto strain for the outdoor!

I agree Skip! All members who contribute here should also contribute to the main strain guide.

When I was on Overgrow the outdoor forum was constantly bogged down with threads asking about good strains for this climate or that climate. I realized that it can be hard to collect enough specific info on a given strain, grown in a similar climate and latitude to make a intelligent decision.

When I started looking at the Overgrow strainguide, I realized that although there were many outdoor reports, they were lost in a sea of indoor reports. Often times when you found a outdoor report on a given strain, the grower may leave little info on climate and latitude, making it hard to know if it would work in your own.
As I recall, there was also no way to search descriptions to look for outdoor reports, meaning you just had to keep looking at strains, one after the other to find the outdoor reports.
I decided I'd sacrifice my time for others convenience, by going through each strain, and listing each that had a outdoor report on a list of clickable links. We already had a guide in the outdoor forum similar to the one I made here, but it was not updated, and had few reports. I posted my link page, and PM a few mods and admins about making it a sticky. One said he'd rather change the existing strainguide to be friendlier to outdoor growers, but Gunny sticked it right away.

When I arrived here, there was no strainguide, hence I started this thread.
man this has been the best ideal since sliced bread..everthing u said above i have had to do till i found this thread..i have found strains here that i didnt even know existed until i found this thread...thx BC for the time and commitment to this,as im sure its help alot of guys like myself pick more starts that will work for them in their lat
