I do believe I picked up sacks of rice hulls at griffins greenhouse supply in tewksbury a while back. Used them for ourtdoor tomato planters and enjoyed it. Tied with lava rock in my opinion, both over perlite.

First screen I've done in a long time just got to week 4, finally things are gonna start to get interesting. Here's one of the lights, mostly the corey haim with a little pure kush and sfv sprinkled in. As things progress I'll grab some pics with better lighting, I just snapped this one quick and under hps.

Temps are 70*-79* F and Humidity is 50%-85% (i only run exhaust fan when lights are on for security)
These plants are both in my vert tent.
Hi Gemini, wanted to get back to you with more info to help me diagnose.
The plants are 10 days into flower. The spots are different between pics 1 and 2 (same plant, #2). I think the spots in pic 1 may be from being too close to the light... that leaf was reaching right for my cool tube. If you think pic 2 is calmag then ill def have to get calmag+, as other members have suggested
. I have city tap water and have been adding mag, but doesnt seem like thats what shes asking for.The wrinkle leaves have been happening since veg, only on this one plant ecsdxsssdh#1. the budsites arnt really developing at all. The new growth leaves and the older leaves that came in wrinkly are just kinda in a hibernation. Not like this across the whole plant i should mention, just about 50% of her... wish i knew what was going on, but maybe like Highlighter said - "That leaf wrinkle is a deformity, you see it a lot in DJ Short gear. Most plants grow out of it, no worries, strictly genetic." So i wont worry about it too much... However I hope some pistils come in soon.

I had a wrinkly, crinkly plant like that too and I set it in a corner because I wanted to give the 10 seeds all a good chance.The bloodline had DJ Short in there but I didn't know it.Then one day a normal leaf shot out and the whole thing started growing, so I transplanted it and just harvested her about 5 days ago. Sometimes you find what appears to be a runt or a mutant but if you continue on they turn out right, not always, but sometimes.I think if you have only x amount of seeds from something you want to try, it's worth giving a shot.I imagine there are factors I'm unaware of at work.Lots of runts or mutants will do wonders if you flip the lamps...Oh the black residue looks like thrip shit, those damn things, not the worst bug by far but hard to eliminate totally.I swear I've done everything and they still show up!

anyone see the news about the 2 idiots in springfield growing in their back yard? what were they thinking with that open grow in the city? they also had a guy wanting to start up a hydro store in west springfield, hope it works out for him. cant wait for all the shit to settle to figure out how all this MMJ stuff will affect everyone

Today was the cut-off day for the 1st phase of applying for a dispensary. That cost $1,500.
Applicants will undergo background checks and be screened for financial viability. They are not required to specify locations for proposed dispensaries @ this point.
A $30,000 fee will be required for those advancing to the second and final phase of the application process.
Then, when you've hurdled that, you can put that $500,000 in escrow!

Are you getting good wetdry cycles on that wrinkle leaf plant? If you are highlighter and slip are prolly correct in it being a genetic issue that could be grown out of

Anything I've grown out w/ blueberry genes, I've found mutations in a few.
As I've sprouted a lot of my F13 x A11 seeds, I've found my share of mutant seedlings, as well as a few gems. Most of the mutants get snuffed. Indoors, your not generally gonna gamble by giving a mutant space, but I've had a really sweet pay-off w/ one OD.

The one w/ the red background above, is the one here. See how it turned into two trunks? One was extremely mutated, and eventually cut off, resulting in this plant.

Damn highlighter.... that's a frosty plant! Definitely wort the gamble ..... you should try to reveg some and see if its growth stays normal or goes mutant again

If this heat would just die down a bit I could turn on my 1000 W MH and pull together the $$ for my dispo app...I guess you have to laugh about it.I havn't known too many growers with $1500, let alone $30,000 or $500,000.Maybe I'm in the wrong crew!!
Most growers I know can barely keep a headstash, they sell it all off in the summer then try and raid my stash. HaHa!! Times are tough though, I understand that but you should keep a few joints. To be perfectly honest, I've associated with some crummy people at work.You have to be more carefull, I've made some terrible choices in my time.

Yea you are correct HL... Fortunately everyone gets copies of each others applications, so you can literally see what ur up against. That way ppl can make a prudent decision before continuing in phase 2. Secondly, the background check is on the financial investors, only those whose name is listed on app. It's quite the process for sure. Phase 1 ends around mid sept, then phase 2 is like 45-90 days but they let u know if ur going to phase 3 @ around 40 days, which is when these applicable companies will start construction of facilities.
