After a few conversations over the last few days - Stank Bros - has gotten permission to do a bit of work with the Gorilla Glue #4 cut.
I've been really impressed by EVERYTHING this plant does - she really just does so many things right. She is a true winner in every sense of the word.
That being said, I know the Super Silver Chemdog Haze male we play with at Stank Bros has never once failed to produce offspring that are superior to the breeding mother - and I really think this male can actually improve Gorilla Glue - I know that seems impossible, but if everything I have seen holds true - then I KNOW it can.
Introducing...in the VERY VERY near future - "Super Glue" - GG#4 x SSCDH - coming to a Seedbay near you.
I want to give a very sincereto Joesy for granting permission to play with his personal Stank - and I know, that Stank Bros will deliver results - we always do. Working with such great base parents, it is really hard to screw it up...lol...but even so, it is a true honor to be allowed to bring a form of the Glue to the masses here at ICm!!

Im out there looking at the giant Diamond girls, and thinking how hard they will be to trim. Next thot was, wish they were gorillas.... LOL.
I wouldnt give up my Headband or OG for anything. but I may have to make extra room for GG4. She is doing well in the 100 gallon pot so far.

Yes, Gorilla Glue #4 x Sour Dubb (fem pollen) will be done as well...but, not as quickly as the true male / female crosses...
Give people a chance to hunt a great male so when they find a killer female in the feminized plants they can actually do something with it. I'd imagine, anyone who takes the time to do (GG#4 x Dubb) x (GG#4 x SSCDH) - will truly have a garden favorite that will be nearly impossible to best...it only gets so good - and truly, Dubb, GG#4 ARE top tier...top 5...some of the VERY best already.
Good things to come....can't thank you enough, Joesy! We'll do it right and proper - no junk from the Bros...

Any other suggestions then for a naming scheme that gives credence to the stains used?? I try not to be too abstract in naming crosses or else it just gets muddled and confusing...but I really don't want to re-use a name if I can help it...
Could just name it "S.S. Gargantua" after the Ringling Brothers Gorilla - or a battle ship for the dome...lol...

I don't know that I could use the name of a belated member of the community - without him ever having seen or heard of glue - ie Silverback - yeah, but I do like the name - and he was an amazing grower - not sure if any tribute strain exists for him yet...
Silverback - I do like that, quite a bit though...

I had a hell og a time finding the two I picked where ok to use.... It took me a week of searching every hit I got for the names I chose before I felt comfortable using them. Its not easy picking names I dont really like it....
