Harvest in Progress

Harvest in Progress

My ex has been trimming the USD in the closet since tuesday. There is only 1 and a half plants left to trim. Each plant appears to be between 8 and 10 ounces per, so I am pretty happy. I notice that I can predict dry weights more and more accurately :) Four to five pounds from 2k in lights is perfectly fine for me going forward...
picture.php

I trimmed the last plant from Alpha. This SDD went 65 days, and could have gone at least a couple more, if not the full 70, but last time bud rot appeared overnight at about day 67. All the plants in that run were about 12" shorter than I would have liked, and roughly translates into a lost pound.

I currently have my next round headed for the closet in Alpha. They are already tied into screens, and I have a bank of T-5s keeping them in veg to fill in the screens. I will update them tomorrow.
Also, have some new strains going into flower soon. I have Deadhead OG, Fire OG, and a single Super Sour OG future mother.

love the simplicity and results of your farm... I like those tall plants filled in the screens, and those look like some nice thick nugs... each screen can have a different strain, but you are still in a way monocropping... you know how long they need to veg to fill in the screen, and all the screens enclose the bulb to make a wall of a variety of buds.... and they can be easily moved around to be worked on trimmed or harvested ....:respect:

no matter how good a strain is, you will eventually get bored of smoking it all the time... cant wait to get some variety in my garden !!!!

excited to hear the final numbers !! keep up the great work !!

. 94 gpw?!?

. 94 gpw?!?

Sorry for the absence, but my computer is down, and need to move some weight to get a new one.
Anyways, dry weights are in on the USD from my closet 4 lighter. If it wasn't for the bud rot on buds the size of my forearm I would have broke 1gpw easily! 1845 grams using 1920w gives me. 94...
It may be a couple weeks before I can do some photo updates but things are coming together nicely.
I have the largest OG Headcheese going in the closet that should finish at 7 feet. The run that tested at nearly 22% was harvested at 50 and 51 days and I will take these to 56 to see if that will bring it up to 25+ % like I know she is capable of.
I have developed a new relationship with a store in the Bay Area that is very excited about it and is having it reviewed by 91 Life, which is pretty rewarding for all the hard work.
My GSC just finished week 6 and will go 63_65 days. I have the lights dimmed to 400 to see if that is the ticket to get her to stack.
The outdoor Blue Dragon is getting the chop tonight. As soon as the sup lighting was turned off on June 10th, she went into flower and never revegged. Now I see why this strain was so popular up North. If only she performed like this indoors... I may try her one more time now that my nutrient program is dialed, or maybe an amended soil and water like she got outside? If I can dial this strain, she will be a regular for sure. I have people begging me to grow it.
There is tons more to update, but I don't like typing on my tablet. I will try to update again very soon.

I'm Back!!... Hopefully lol

I'm Back!!... Hopefully lol

Well, I don't know where to begin, so much has happened in the last couple months, but all good!
I picked up a helper who is a local kid who grew up in the industry. He has been given the primary responsibility of maintaining the nursery. As long as all flower rooms are full, he can earn his paycheck with clones. Within 30 days of having a helper, I now have the next 4 flower rooms rooted, and in line for their turn on the veg table. We have cuts coming out our ears, and I already have a dispensary placing orders for them.
I changed up my mother lineup considerably. I have 15 mothers in 2gal airpots, with some real nice strains to choose from.
I will do more detailed updates later today, but here is a summary of what's going on:
Harvesting Alpha and Charlie in 10 days. 3/4 will be Deadhead OG, with the rest being Raskals Fire OG. Behind that by 4 weeks is Bravo, with 8 Headband, 4 Tahoe OG, 3 SSOG, and one WiFi Alien OG. I already have Delta loaded, and will flip on Monday.
After the first of the year, all rooms will be sequenced to be harvested every two weeks. I compiled all my harvests for the first year into a spreadsheet with my average GPW, and can now project my harvests. I have pulled anywhere from .3 to .98 GPW in the last year totaling 21 units. My average is .5, so I have plenty of room to grow.
I have been snapping pictures, and will do my best to update each room tonight...

Let's see if I remember how to do this...

Let's see if I remember how to do this...

Up first is the Nursery. The most painful lesson I learned over the last 6 months is the importance of your nursery. I had entirely too much down time in my flower rooms this last year. Now I am holding back rooms to adjust my harvest schedules :)
My writing is the neater of course... Basically, the board is the brain of the OP. I have all mothers listed, plus all 8 trays of clones, and most importantly veg requirements for the 4 flower rooms, and soon the greenhouse!
picture.php

I just moved 8 of the nicest OG Headcheese into Delta, and replaced them with 8 Blue Dragon, and 8 Cindy 99. Which will go into Alpha, and Charlie over the next 2-4 weeks.
To the left of the 16 is where I will be keeping 3 mothers that will be larger than the others to fulfill orders.
picture.php

The bottom shelf is for domed trays, and the upper is for rooted cuts ready to be sorted.
picture.php

I took out one shelf, and set up a 2 x 4 flood and drain table for my pre veg. I can put 4 trays of sixteen 3" rockwool blocks in there if needed.
Currently, 3/4 of the table is OG Headcheese that will fill Bravo in 6 weeks, and Delta again in 9 weeks. I will have to get creative with the training during veg...
picture.php

I will try to update Bravo tonight. Bravo is my big room, with 4 stacks of 1200w and 16 trees. I had 3 WiFi Alien that did not like the transplant, so I replaced them with Super Sour OG. They will not be able to use the upper light, but at least I will have some tester product.
The Headband cut I was given is a Sour dominant pheno, and has been some of my favorite smoke in the last year. Reminds me so much of my Sour D that I let go, but doesn't need 77 fucking days in flower... lol
Anyways, thanks for not forgetting about me completely hahaha!

I ended up losing my largest cola last run kuz of a failure in my timer for my Exhaust Fan.. allowed my room to get to 93 degrees F.. and the cola closest to the cool tube.. ended up fried.. I pulled it off.. and found I lost 14 gram cola.. was fuckin pisseeddd..

I love the setup. I was going to make screens like that.. wat an amazing idea.

New Record High Test Results!

New Record High Test Results!

I submitted 8 samples last week, and finally got the last of them back last night. I have been absolutely speechless at the results!
First up is my Sun Grown Blue Dream. I lost about 1.5 pounds of bud rot (dry weight), and still ended up with one unit from one plant. 22.9% is pretty damn respectable for outdoor.
picture.php

The Forum Cut did very well, and I will only be running it in the greenhouse, no more indoor cookies for me! With test results and yields (1# per plant in 20g pots) like this, why would I? I didn't even see the CBD amount at first because all I saw was the 29.6%!!!
picture.php

I took 3 ounces of this shatter to a club in San Jose aka "Shatter City". They told me it was going to "budder" up since there was some cloudiness. I was pissed since I knew better. At 90 degrees it was still not sticky. I made it a point to inform them of the 93.4% test results, and I don't plan on going back to that store...
picture.php

And just to show people that wax is only slightly overheated shatter, but still just as potent, I tested some Blue Dream Wax. 90.6% is definitely higher than anything I have seen on Weedmap menus! next.
