I love my Extreme Q Vape :woohoo:
But I still can't stop smoking joints, used to be heavy of the bucket bongs for years an years but I think I finally grew up :D
So 99% of the time I'm blazing a spliff and the other 1% I'm flying High with my vape :good:

I have the Extreme Q aswell. Nice to have the bag or whip. Mine works best at 394 degrees. With a hour heat up time. But I just keep it running. 24/7.

pen

pen

I have been vaping a couple of different ways recently. Was passenger in accident and got 5 broken ribs and punctured lung. Smoking was very challenging for a few weeks.

Vapor Brothers with whip for home and Gpen on the go. Still look forward to a smoke when time and place allow it.

Pen is just way to easy to use on the go. Love it.

hey CC...have spent $100s on various vapes over the years...there is a learning curve to using vapes...if you are not getting the results then try something different, but my experience with portable battery operated vapes has been negative...i use the genie for my portable and home needs...i should clean it up and post a pic or 26...

edit: i see it is butane powered...

here is a good site for tips on what makes various vapes work best: http://fuckcombustion.com/

I have never used a portable vape but have basically heard the same results from friends that Chronic craig got with his Iolite, very steep learning curve and nowhere near 100% satisfaction with the whole unit's workings and use.
Took a little while to get used to the idea of pulling slowly on my Extreme Q but with a little help and info from fuckcombustion I had my starting temps worked out and was getting extremely satisfying tasty hits that got me wrecked as a mofo :bigeye:

Hey ozzie funny you say that, after having a go at vaping again last night I then had a few chaser bongs and thaught that exact, very dirty found myself scrubbing my bong clean at 12 last night, would love to see pics of your old faithful unit. I gave the iolite another run this morning, I think I need a plug in unit, just not quite doing it for me

For a portable herb vape... the Arizer Solo is the nuts. Works flawlessly and you can get a passthrough also so you can vape and charge at the same time.

For a stay in one spot vape get a Volcano and love your life.

For cleaning glass whips try dipping in corn oil and then into dishwasher, screens and all come out squeeky... I've used the extremeQ, good place/price to start; bag with friends and whip when alone.. my favorite is the SSV:

http://silversurfervap.com/silver-surfer-vaporizer/create-your-own-ssv.html

set up correctly will rival the hits from a bong.. perception is the hit is less but vapors are not as dense because they are not 'burned'. many must have that 'my lungs are gonna explode' feeling that comes from burning. as far as portables, PAX sux, VapirNO2 is what I use for travel, sufficient but not great. vapolution.. dont waste your money, i gave one away. the cheap vaporizors and battery operted vapes are the ones that people say arent worth a shit and i understand why.. the king of baggers, volcano.. but too expensive for me.

No probs man.
Once you buy a volcano you will never buy another vaporizer again.
They are the standard that everyone else strives for although obviously that comes with a hefty price tag but worth every penny.

Their price range is what keeps other pv's in the market IMHO.

Kinda like a provari for ejuice vapers.

I was a happy user of the magic flight box (great for discreet hits in the car) but the battery dies real quick.

I would love a volcano but got more pressing needs for my $ right now.

Whats a good middle of the road option? I noticed a few hybrids around that are still burnt with a lighter.

:smoweed:

Hey ic members im loving this thread, I hope you dont mind me going off track a little but wanted to mention I was given a lighter at the grow shop yesterday, wich looked like a usb stick, as the guy went on to show me its a portable rechargeable hash burner you simply pull back a slot on the side and there is a heater element, drop a little block of hash on and ready to go start inhailing, even better that it was free, I think iv found my new portable unit for now.
Sorry I know its not quite vaping just wanted to share my new toy
Thanks guys cc..
