Anyone know what causes this ? When a plant has some branches that "dud" . Weirdest thing ever. Have seen it on ogs and sours. Don't know if it happens to other plants. Have also seen plants next to each other that were taken from same mother same batch, one right next to the other one perfect the other no smell , no shine, and have seen it happen on the same plant like scoots one branch lovely another "dudded" out.. Any conclusions or theories to this? Anyone else seen this before?

Ive seen it happen on tahoe and fire og. I think its either aphids hit a particular root system that only effects one branch, or, if you put more than one plant into the same medium such as running rockwool slabs or beds with multiple plants in the same medium i think roots getting intertwined by another plant could choke out a branch. All of that is guessing. I rid myself of aphids and i just ran plants that had all their own slabs and no duds.

Fan Fukin Tastic Thread!!!! I just went thru the entire thread and was compelled and enjoyed every single page. Minus the idiots that didn't quite get the fact that this thread is dedicated to Clone Only or at least super Xclusives. Nonetheless it was good to the last drop even the lil drama at the end is entertaining!!! I've been infatuated by and smokin' O.G. Kush since '97 and although it has been watered down a lot, its by far still my Favorite strain. Now if I could only get one with the super euphoric happy happy high that used to be the trademark of O.G. Kush from the 90's I would be absolutely ecstatic!!! Nowadays I find that I can still find the prototypical O.G. Kush taste/smell profile but the amazing second to none "happy high" is missing. I used to smoke O.G. Kush and it would literally make my day better. I also wish I could get my hands on the "Ghanz" from the 90's too while I'm dreamin!!! They had a afghani strain from Michigan, Detroit in particular that was insanely tasty with a world class high. Haven't seen it in years. But I guess just like there are no "road kill skunks" to be had anymore due to the watering down of the genetic pool, the same could be said of the O.G. Kush strains. But even still, gotta give O.G. Kush credit, its having one helluva run!! 16 years and counting for me and nothing has come along to even remotely challenge it.

Was getting 'ghanz' back in 07-08 in Detroit also.. It was on that he cheaper side, Ive been looking for the 'kush' that came out of the D around the same time.. Was the real deal kush.. Would reek up your whole house after one hit and had a devastating KO indica stone.. Still some of my favorite smoke to date, if I found her she would be ran exclusive in my garden... Im thinking most likely a afghan or Master kush, maybe afpak?

I'm pretty sure like most popular strains the once specific strain "ghanz" turned into a generic term that ended up encompassing a broad variety of "ghanz's" with the true "Ghanz" losing its identity and value. Back when I was married to my now ex-wife she was born and raised in the D and I went there quite frequently in the mid-late 90's. BTW I also got the same "Ghanz" while traveling thru Big Texas and Dallas in particular had it as well. Once again this was the late 90's.

I believe it.. Thats thethe only strain Ive gotten with the ghanz tag.. The 'ghanz' I was getting out of the D was more on the fruity side but was def some good herb.. Pretty frosty too.. The ghanz would go for 275 a zip in the hood where as the Kush went for 400-500 all day... I really miss the kush.. The smell of that shit is what I think of when I hear kush.. Rock hard kush balls that had a darker appearance with a small amount of dark red hairs.. Straight reeked.. Very potent.. Def not og kush either.. The smell is very hard to descibe for me but I havnt seen it around since... The closest thing ive sampled since in terms of aroma/flavor was the Socal Master but seemed more light green and not quite as potent.. Makes me want to take a trip to the hood to see if its still around...

I suggest growing the SFV OG Kush. That has the most euphoric high out of all the OG's I've smoked and grown

What's Happenin' Mr.Dank? Well which SFV O.G. cut would that be???LOL I was gifted a SFV O.G. years ago from Orgnkid that was good but that wasn't the same as the O.G. Kush I was regularly getting in the streets of L.A./Hollywood/Pasadena/Sierra Madre. Don't get me wrong it was very good but that once in a lifetime happy high wasn't in that SFV. I've had a couple of others cuts passed my way with that ominous "SFV O.G. Kush" moniker but likewise, the awe inspiring O.G. Kush high I crave was not to be found. I would sure love to find it tho', I was getting to believe it was like searchin' for a unicorn or Road Kill Skunk!!!!Haha. I would be forever greatful if you can point me in the right direction and put me in the pocket!!
Well the "Ghanz" I'm speaking of was nuthin' fruity my good man!!!LOL It had a very unique dank funky thing goin on. I'm not really good at describing herb unless its done immediately after partaking so please forgive my super vague description but I can't honestly remember anything more distinguishing than that. On the other hand the strain that your describing as a slightly darker more potent "Socal Master" would be PK/Pure Kush!!! I used to refer to Master K as PK-light!!!Haha Anyways I'd be willing to bet thats what you were gettin' and around 07-08 Pure Kush was allover the place!!! I was extremely lucky to have been blessed with a really really nice cut of Pure Kush known as Suge's PK. BTW Sorry for cluttering the Thread up with non O.G. Kush Clone chat!!!!LOL
