My take on this: Fungus Gnats, like most pests need some sort of integrated pest management. If you use only 1 product or solution, they will get used to that product and their babies will be immune to it after a while. You end up creating super bugs that are super resistant.. The only thing that get's rid of Fungus Gnats for me after fighting them for 1.5 years is sticky traps. Nothing seems to actually kill the larvae or adults in any stage.. Mosquito dunks, Azatrol, GoGnats, Gnatrol, Imidacloprid, etc, etc will just knock them back for a bit. They will crawl to areas of the room that has no insecticide and they will wait there til things calm down and create another generation of them that are more resistant to what you've been killing them with.

Hot Shot No Pest Strips will kill Fungus Gnats and just about anything else, but how safe they are to breathe or if the vapor sticks to the plants is another story..
