no I change the water every 10 days.. I clean the whole thing every 30 days.

No if the roots are good no problem. I could grow a plant to harvest in my aero cloner. Its not made for that but could be done. I have had some very long root tails before transplant. I like to have all of the plants in the soil rooting at the same time.

its the fox farm soil thats slowing them down i bet...
do you have a dome?
what i do is put the cuts in a cup of plain ro water under a 23w cfl until they show roots then i put them in 20 oz solo cups of sunshine advanced mix #4 and water that with general hydroponics rapid start and cal/mag and GO biothrive grow and put them in a tray with a humidity dome and mist them once a day.i use a clear cup that i stack in a regular red cup so i can look at the roots, once i see a good root mass i start opening the vents on the dome until i can take it off.

btw- I'm seeing some leaf curl and drying going on! Damn I need to be slapped for this one, I still have hope there a little blotch of green- I know some of you have experienced this I can't be the only one that screws up a simple process?

I use only water in the cloner sometimes I through some age old in there when I see some yellowing seems to work- switch to Hamm's suggestion this next round.

Much love my friends, I'm headed to the store now Unc. better to go into a smaller pot first? I was using the smaller bio-deg and them upping to the qrt. and then to the gal. Lately straight into the quart out of the cloner. bad move? I was told maybe they like the smaller spaces as they grow..

I'll give you an update-

plain water is fine if its not to heavy in metals. check your ppm 200 ppm or more is to much for me. You should clean the cloner put in fresh water,...I have never encountered what you have in my cloner.. Everything needs to be clean especially with all these organics I use. Nasty bacteria would thrive if I did not clean often.

well,as i have tried to stress before, veganics is different than other systems, what im doing is hydroponics since i use sterile medium so what i do isnt necessarily going to work for others but its all about finding the goldilox zone for your set up,not too much light, not too much heat, just enough humidity....i always find the simplest process is the one that generates the most consistent results...

gorgeous plants hammerhead!

dont worry about what the clones look like. some of mine look dead sometimes but always root and recover regardless of strain.

JB I would get some coco, I know your doing dirt but put the new rooted clones in a beer cup with coco, gives them more air and will let the roots expand fast, they don't need a lot of nutes somewhere around 500 to 800 ppm or just some sea weed extract . sounds like there to wet and not getting enough air to the roots

airflow is important, maintaining a 60/40 aerated mix helps a lot, i usually drill holes along the sides of the cups, diy airpots.
