Thanks MagniKhan. I think you just told me why a bucket full of clones got stem rot.
"it's noticed that it seems to be harder to clone when it's real humid."
That just rand a bell in my head why clones I took last fall/winter wouldn't let me clone from them again. It's all about the learning curve. Thanks again.

Lol, I use a small spoon to water my seedlings. Big hairy dude bent over watering a tiny plant in a tiny pot with a spoon <, just picture that! LOL
seriuosly though, I use a small spoon.

Nice work fellas keep it rolling. This pic below of the Black Triangle has to be one of the best strains I have grown from seed to date. She hits you hard and fast.

:chin: Black Triangle huh. Do tell brother. If she's in your stable then I KNOW it's got to be worthy:ying:

I used a spray bottle as I just can't be trusted with larger volume delivery systems. 3-4 good squirts and I feel fulfilled.

Hey friends, the FLA thread is pickin up steam!!

Alright now hehehe, thats the ticket BIG G love the tri baby!

CHEEB,another very very important thing when germing,HAVE IT COLD,the colder
the better.....PLUS you will get MORE FEMALES from same seed,so the hotter the more
males from SAME SEEDS....try it,have temps around 60- 65' and gradualy get up to 75'
the medium stays more moist for that 2 weeks also....

Ok then folks,get'er DONE!!!!!!!!

Heat an MOISTER are the biggest problem in summers...

Heat an MOISTER are the biggest problem in summers...

I think your on to something with "to much moisture", I've noticed that it seems to be harder to clone when it's real humid.
What I mean is I have to be real careful or the little growing tips rot on me. From that point it takes a clone for ever to get any kind of growth again, unless I really need the clone I just dump them a that point.

SAME as GERMING,the COLDER the BETTER....all the way to the bank!

TIP:when using a dome for clones,DONT use perilite on bottom, the shit greens fast....
use vermiculite it doesnt mold as fast an hold much more water at bottom of plugs!!!!!!!!
Roots love it when they hit it too,BUT you must clean it out with bleach/water/soap first.

Idea!
im was thinking of converting a frig into a cloning chamber, having the frig on a timer
and a small T5 inside on a all times....here in FLA summers hinder cloning BAD........
thats a way out!!!

Again keep temps at around 60 to 65.....no more than 70 for cloning AND germing!!!
and its a go.....

Stignobilovi...watering from bottom can be dangerous, you will rot roots on bottom,
if you see yellowing of leaf or tips, thats whats happening, get use to the weight of cups
or pots when wet an when dry an then you'll know how wet they are too!!!!
Ok,then have fun this year everybody its a hot one...
Peace an green to all,Lg

bingo!

I never thought of it but my veg stays cool due to lung room keeping flower tent cool and even though I struggle to keep seedling alive I felt luck that I got a high ratio of females.

ive been trying to find any info to lead me to why I got an unusually high ratio of F / m plants so thx for the info.

i'm kinda in a catch 22 Lou. if i water from the top the soil stays moist enough for c*ant fungus gnats to get a foothold. but i'm using LC's mix#1 (variation) so it's mostly coco. will i still have to worry about root rot? they don't sit in water longer than they need to suck it up.

I think it really depends...

Mine seem to root better and faster if they are soaking wet, and i either take the dome off or have vents wide open... if they DO root while the plug is dry, it's because the humidity was pretty high... but then if the humidity is too high for too long I start getting a mold growing on the leaves... so I think the best enviro is cool temps (75ish) and wet plugs with no dome, or with vents all the way open with a fan blowing over the top.

If temps are a little higher, no dome at all, since the humidity will get higher.

I'm interested to see how my veg grow room fares out with all the separate rooms and compartments... :dance013:

Welcome!!

Got anything to add to the thread?

EVERYBODY LOVING THIS DEATH WEATHER,thats what i call summer.
i can hardly water plants without getting SOAKED BAD.....just walking
around the yard is enuff to kill a cow.....SUCKS!

Cant wait till october when we can actually walk outside again.
But then again,it really doesnt cool off till december here, then we get 2 months
kinda cool and right back to the 90's in march......but you know what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WEED GROWS LIKE HELL FIRE HERE IN FLA,this place RULES for MJ period.
SO lets see it,where the FUCK are the swamp tube growers???
Have ya seen how easy that is yet, find a swamp that has a few inches of water like
a cypress bog, side of pond, ditch,or any standing water that NOBODY walks past!!!!!!
THATS EASY, WHO WALKS THREW SWAMPS RIGHT?

Now,get some light weight chicken wire, easy to cut an all, make a 2 to 4 foot circle,
get some film, felt,or plastic, line the inside leaving bottom open to the standing water.
Then fill with a mix of PEATMOSS and topsoils with some perilite to add air to soil, with a few cups of lime mixed in an
mostly needed at the bottom where the water seeps up,if you
use to much lime it will burn small plants,so at bottom of soil level is best to reduce the acidic water in swamps..
PLUNK a clone in it or seed plant(female) ofcorse, water from above 1 or 2 times until
roots reach the water that is being absorbed like wick style, and set it,and forget it!!!!!!!!
the easiest style of growing known to man kind.....its NOT rocket science folks.
Plus your taking advantage of the natural resource of WATER!
the most important thing in a grow, now come on,dont tell me you aint got a swamp
close by were no one would want to go threw....its FLA the SWAMP KINGDOM!!!!!!
THe little bit of carryin shit out there will pay off BIGTIME.......

Only grew her out one time. Will be running her soon again. Im impressed with this one though. Hard and fast the punch. I have had other strains with better flavor but not the potency like this one. Still no slouch in the flav department. She grows more OGish compared to others I have seen with this strain.
