thought i'd do a quick update.
even though i'm not recording my grow in here (this thread was intended to document the design and build of the cab), i thought it would be appropriate to see a pic of my screen all filled up (ie, IT WORKS!).

threw my nicely vegged og kush x brains damage (kush damage) in flower this past weekend. finally got the blumat in there today. check out the sweet double trouble i made with a modified airpot.
you just cut out one of the dimples next to the inner seam of the wall. then assemble the pot around your little plant. no squeezing the plant through anything! then i strapped her up to the side of the pot LST style so she'd have her full face to the light.
also finally got a blumat in my little 1L sour purps plant. i've been handwatering her daily this whole time! duh.
also figured out what to do with those crappy little bits of 3mm tubing you get with the blumat patio set: placeholders for perpetual systems!
the nugs are looking so amazing. i can't believe i'm only 42 days in! that leaves me at least two more weeks to pack on weight, four for the giant widow plant! she's huge!

i realized i never posted a pic of my updated clone/veg/mom cab. my cab has "popcorn" ceilings, which are a pain in the ass, and may be made with asbestos. i sealed it well with primer and paint, but it's not a good thing to hang lights on, even crappy fluorescent strips. so i built a false ceiling that fits like a glove. it's 1/4" masonite.
i've got two sunleaves 24W t5HO's in there, they are pretty sweet. i also tried to supplement them with some crappy t5s from HD, but they are pretty worthless, 15w and very warm light. i figured since i had them they'd improve the spectrum or something, so i threw them in there too.

also, remember that og kush x brains damage from a couple weeks ago? she's filled out very nicely 
DAY 20 - OG KUSH X BRAINS DAMAGE
she's got a little PM, cause she was much bushier before, but i gave her a pretty aggressive trim to keep the air (and light!) flowin through her. she seems to have stabilized and is happily growing flowers. also the upper plant got to the ceiling before she stopped stretching so i had to knock the top over (supercropping). but she's reinforced the spot where i bent her and everything looks good!

crap looks like the og x bd has mites. i took it out of the cab. between this and the pm i'm thinking of just trashing the whole plant. i've got some WW clones lined up and i'm gonna be harvesting the other side of the cab in ~10 days anyway.
