NHL hockey chatter...

If the past history has proven one thing, it's that anything can happen in the playoffs. Favourites can be beaten and underdogs can go on to win the Cup. I expect no different this year.

Personally, I think that between the Bruins, Pens and Habs, anyone can beat anyone in a 7 game series. Even Ottawa and the Leafs play these teams tight. It all depends on who has the hot goalie at the time.

the hawks still look real good, maybe they will peak too soon, or maybe they have not peaked at all. we do not have the super stocked teams any longer in the NHL, more than ever before in the playoffs if you play hard and get a little lucky, and avoid injuries you got a shot, and if your goalie is hot you are golden.

WHAT A FIRST PERIOD!!!!!!!

B's score 4!!!!

LET'S GO BRU-INS!!!

Not too sure anyone outside New England gave the Bruins much of a chance against the Penguins, especially in Pittsburg.

^^ I don't think I'd say they gave away a game that ended in triple overtime. Both teams played incredibly well, and we've got a hell of a series ahead of us to watch!

i agree...that was one hell of a game.
im hoping this series goes 7 games..just to see who is the better team.
bruins and hawks havent been in the finals in decades..and they are part of the original 6.

but im wanting the wicked awesome hawks to win it all..

Up 3-1 in the 3rd in Chicago.

B's had them on the ropes, smelling a knockout.

Winning game 1 on the road, would have been huge.

Now, it's just a big let down. IMO.

Not sure a series has to go 7 to see who is better.

When Boston swept the Pens in 4, who did you think was better?!?!

In all truthfulness, I thought the Hawks sustained their game way better than the B's.
Their D was better & the B's had a hard time getting it out of their end.
Still, it was the B's game to win.
After the announcer's made such a big deal that no opponent has scored when Krug's been on the ice, he turns it over for Hawk's #2 goal.
Then a shot off the defender's skate, and a double deflection to win it, that's all she wrote! :puppydoge

So pumped for the game about to begin! :D
