OKD

Man I'd love to come help you sample the skunk and Five-0!!! Lookin' like a nice harvest. I had some heat problems too but everything pulled through :)

Thanks NKOTS, will do, hoping to get a slower dry on this one, the CK dried a bit too quickly, only 3-4 days I think, still getting it dialed in.

OKD glad to hear things worked out for you, my girls don't seem to mind it too much imo

The Five-O main cola was leaning again, and one of it's lower tops was, too. I tied her up the best I could, it'll have to make do for now. Hoping I will be able to finish her without too much of an issue.

Hi Rosetta , i want to tell you that they look amazing !! :yummy:
Could you repeat please what light do you use ? 12/12 minds 12 hours night and 12 hours day yes ?
So ,and the CFL ?How many W / K ?
Please answer soon '!
Have a nice day

GloNt :thank you: Yes the light cycle has been 12 hours of light/ 12 hours of darkness the whole grow. I use all CFL's, a 125w dual spectrum (2700k, 6400k), a 19w (2700k), and a 33w (also 2700k). The 125w is sort of in the middle, with the two smaller bulbs at the sides. I try to keep them quite close, but it can be difficult.

rootidec Thanks dude, they certainly smell delicious

Five-O is showing some purple spots on the buds, I would like to figure out a way to drop the temps for a few nights before I chop her to bring it out fully. The cab pretty much doesn't go below 70 now, even at night. I don't have AC right now, which would be the easiest solution. Maybe if we have a cool night I'll take them outside for a few hours, I would just need to do it in total darkness. The white widow should be dry by the next update, it doesn't look like very much though.

I got some seeds for my next grow. Probably going to do 1 Lemon Kush (Female Seeds) and 1 Brainstorm (Dutch Passion). I want to try making a scrog this time. Gonna wait 2 more weeks at the most for the remaining girls to finish up, then I'll set up the cab I'm using to start my outdoors for a full grow. It's a lot easier access, it's got more space, and it's sturdier, so I shouldn't have as many issues as I did this time. I'll be back in a few days with an update.

Good evening Icmaggers!

White widow ended up at about 3 grams, nothing spectacular. Looks to be some good smoke, needs a few more days in paper bags first.:

Things have been a little hectic, it got really hot around here and the box was running like 99 the last few days. I decided to chop the Skunk, partially because of that and I felt she was ready enough.

Group shot before chop:

The Five-O would probably be on the ground without the support now; her main cola is massive. I'm thinking I can keep her going for another week or two. Things should cool off in a few days, and she's supported for now. If it gets really cool (~50's) at night I'll try and take her out to develop her colors before I cut her, I figure it can't hurt too much at this point, and if she's putting a little color off at these temps she might turn completely purple

Here's the main cola, you can see some lavender in the buds now:

The smell is amazing, it's sort of like grape, with a hint of skunk perhaps. She's just covered in resin, made a few small balls of scissor hash and bubble hash from the trim. The hash tastes like the plant smells, the potency is great, totally blasted right now. I'm very happy I have 4 of these going outside this year, hopefully I'll get more phenos like this one :joint: The main cola is fat and chunky as hell. She put out lots of small buds lower on the stem, they seem pretty dense despite the size.
Here she is trimmed, lighter for reference :tiphat::

That's all for now. I'll be back next week with dry weight on the Skunk #1 and an update on the Five-O.

wow man idk how I didn't stop in here earlier but great job man! seriously for 177 watts of CFLs you did great! how big of a cab were you running in and how big of a container of soil was it? sorry if it was said. great job man, they look like some very nice buds. I am sure you will enjoy them. once again great job! your cfl nugs look better than my 150w HPS nugs!

soursmoker They had about 24"x12"x18" to grow in, I stuck two rubbermaid containers together basically lol The container was around 3 gallons. Thanks man!

OKD It made trimming more pleasant to be constantly overwhelmed by that wonderful stink :)

super duper!
the trimmed skunk makes my rabbit palate salivate... pls excuse if i make your screen moist...

:tiphat: Thanks bros

Temps in the cab have been in the 100's the last 2 days :wallbash: Five-O seems alright though. It's supposed to get cool in the next few days, we're gonna have a few nights in the low 50's, so I'm gonna experiment and take her outside during the night.

Well I'm sorry to say that I totally murdered the Five-O last night. Long story short she ended up getting over an hour in below freezing temps during the night, I went much too far trying to bring out her colors :wallbash: Today I found her totally wilted, basically dead.

Here was the top:

Seeing that I harvested immediately. The buds don't feel the same, they feel a bit softer, but not mushy like there's any real damage, more like when something has been drying for a day or two. She's got plenty of resin and a rotten funk going on. There was a bit of a grassy/dead plant smell other than that. Trimming wasn't too bad she wasn't too leafy, but the fact it was wilted made it a little more difficult. I felt more hopeful then because the buds seemed relatively normal. No mold whatsoever. Maybe she just died in the middle of the night and they started drying?
Here she is trimmed up looking pretty good:

She's drying now. I'm only hoping it turns out okay and doesn't turn to sh*t on me :frown: If anyone has experience harvesting nugs that went through something similar I'd like to know what happened.

In better news, the skunk is nearly dry. I like to finish in brown paper bags, so she'll spend a few days in there and I'll have some pics and dry weight posted then. She has still retained a bit of her delicious smell. Yield looks decent. Widow is in jars, it's pretty good, just needs some curing. I'm almost done the Critical Kush already :smoker: Earthy smell to the buds, but in the grinder it's kind of a clean sour smell. After smoking it I can definitely smell the dankness though. I actually like the indica effects a lot. Good stuff.

The box is empty now, I'll give a few more updates to this thread after this. Once things dry I'm going to figure out my new cab, and probably get a scrog going. I'll be sure to make a thread when I do. I've got the bug now for indoors as well as outdoors.

rootidec Thanks man!

OKD She's been drying for a few days now and everything seems pretty normal. I think it'll be fine. I put a small bud I accidentally trimmed off on some cardboard and it was dry yesterday so I got to sample it. Seems fine to me, not harsh or anything, high seemed good. It's still retaining some of the super dank smell she's got. Only weird thing is that the buds don't seem to be shrinking that much as they dry.

It's alright, the Five-o's almost done drying and it looks fine. I was just worried because of how awful she looked before I chopped her. Smoke tests have all been good. She's a bit fluffy, but the yield should be good.

The Skunk #1 is jarred now. Dry weight was about 10 grams. Fruity smell, potency is great:

Once the Five-O is dry I'll start on my next grow as she's drying in that cab.
