So this old guy that lives near me got to talking about apollo13.
I told him I have a 14 year old mom and he says he has a ton of f2s.
I ask if he has any F1s. I am now the proud owner of 5 Apollo 13 F1 seeds and 5 cinderella88 seeds!
i also picked up some crosses and f2s of more stuff.

Great find kal el. Look forward to what you do with them.

Painfull, read this because it seems you don't know the full back story with BG's genetics-

P.88 = Renamed Cinderella 88 when first released on the market. It grows fast and produces excellent yields of FROSTY buds in 7 weeks! Generally uniform seedlings with minor differences in floral formation and some height variance, but the smoke is quite consistent from all plants - Dense, heavy nuggets of fruity scented & flavored (like wild berries) and covered in resin glands, the dried buds have distinctly ORANGE pistils.

And now P.94 = Cinderella 99. This project has been a huge success. The strain has been embraced by the "net"work of growers with rave reviews.

Here's a bit more information given by Mr Soul on his breeding.Interesting read-

And a little on Apollo 13-
Apollo 13

P75 x Genius

This hybrid has a place in Cannabis history and been released several times with several phenotypes. The original version was from the Brothers Grimm seed bank. Genius and Princess were both strains from seeds out of a Jack Herer bud purchased by 'Mr Soul' in Amsterdam. This strain had a mystery father. P75 or Princess 75 was the backcrossed version of Princess (75% Princess crossed with Shiva Skunk). Soul went on to back cross Princess at least 2 more times and created Cinderella88 and the extremely famous Cinderella99. Soul crossed selected P75 males to Genius to make Apollo13. Only 500 Apollo 13 seeds were ever released from The Brothers Grimm.

Yes! Great to hear that the C88 beans are still viable.
I grew C88 waaaayyy back and enjoyed it very much. Just as much or more than any C99 F2, F3, or F4 I have grown in recent times.
Now, as I remember, it did pale in comparison to my C99 F1 mother I ran from original BG stock back in 01'. She was a cut above.
Would be worth while to do some C88 F2's and have a look through them. Too bad this old cat wasn't holding any old P75 beans. I never ran any personally. But have heard from a few that have that they produced at least some offspring that were more potent than the C99 generation. I think Mota is working with a select P75 cutting these days. Anyway..... :tiphat:

I actually have the rotten pheno of c99 bred out and stabilized at f8. I call it Rotten Cindy.
It is very potent and finishes at 52 days. 2 bong tokes and I am good to go.
Thanks guys for following. I just couldn't wait so I decided I could handle 5 or less plants. That's why I dropped the beans now.
