When myself and elevator man came to make the strain, I think we envisioned a plant similar to yours as what people would get in a seed in a pack.

I actually believe in the strain, even if people get an occasional indica pheno.
I think LED helps the sativa come out more here.... Good move!

Thank you Mr. Alkaline, I am very happy indeed and i only popped 2 seeds from the Vitality pack. The male, Vitality1 was more indica like, will try to make some F1 for myself from these two, narrow or wide leaf phenos are both welcome in the next generation

I went harvesting kelp and nettles today in the morning, scouting my outdoor spot and smoking the male flowers, very nice stoned sunny beginning of the day

I wrote an article in IC4 about mayan plant water.
Vitality was meant to idealize that whole article, by it's name.
...and it suggests a sativa that gives Vitality, should also get the water that gives vitality....that old sacred mayan cave plant water lol

Your drawing immediately made me think of a codex sketch of a american medicinal plant. I have a hard bound volume that contains many illustrations of old american heirlooms and landraces of herbs and plants and such....

Hello everybody, today is 14 days of flowering, one week of 11/13 actually...

First of all, thank you Mr. Alkaline, just read the article today, very interesting stuff, the red corn beer had to be something, hehe... I have vitalized the plants with water and aact today as well as foliar sprayed them with kelp and nettle, just wishing Quetzalcoatl would endorse the waters with his astral sap, because frankly the water is the most important factor not just for plants but for all of us and unfortunately to find unpolluted/not treated with chlorine and other poisons water in the cities today is pretty impossible. Well anyway, here are the photos

So new lesson learned, by that i mean the unfortunate neglect of Flo1. She was a very vigorous and big plant in veg, but after she showed both sex organs and then even more balls later i was so sure that she was a boy so was tossed back in 5l pot with not much soil and the real males got promoted to stay in the final grow bags instead... next time i am gonna be extra careful when sexing, that is for sure...
The grow conditions are almost perfect, temp 24/25 with lights on, 20 off. RH around 50% all the time. Just waiting for the male cuts to shed pollen and soon i will be pollinating, juchu! Have a great time everyone, thanks for watching.

Hello fellow growers, thank you Synthesis and Mr. Alkaline for your kind words, the plants have exploded with the hair production on the buds, just could not keep myself from not snapping at least five photos today to show you the increase of budding, lol.

They were listening to some angelic voice of Freddie and Queen and even some Deep Purple. The Vitality has started to show some deficiencies on the lower fan leaves and the Flo sports some green little crawling buggers on few stems, CBD is thriving...

Once again, I do applaud your selecting an LED to grow the Vitality!
-it could encourage a more "highland" sativa character to come into the makeup of your (F2) Vitality pheno.

(When people have leaks of light and male flowers and then see seeds,...they are more apt to believe in the power of Light to influence spontaneous, sudden and permanent plant responses. )

LED is such an exciting thing to be using here! Can't wait to see the mature buds..

Hi to all of you my dear friends, i took some photos yesterday so here we come.

Thank you Mr. Alkaline, i too hope the led light will encourage more trichome production. My cuts in water from the males are finally shedding some pollen, i left them on the windowsill since yesterday and Vanilluna and Vitality boys are busting their balls as we speak, the Kumaoni will need a little longer. Already started to pollinate the finola girl with the brush as a training in the night. What would be the best time to pollinate the Vitality? The CBD plant and Flo i am gonna pollinate asap, they mature fast, but with the sativa i am not so sure.

So i gave them some fermented extract of nettles and kelp diluted for foliar spray and for watering as well, took some yellow leaves off Vitality and tried to get rid of the crawling buggers on Flo with some tobacco water. The CBD plant has currently the longest hair and most trichomes even on the leaves, the Flo is trying to catch up but the buds are still tiny. Temps and humidity went up a little again, night temp does not go under 19C and rh stays between 40-55%. Cannot wait to seed the girls, will do it probably tomorrow. Just do it sometime during Vitality number one's initial/peak pollen drop.

The 2 Vitality plants are the entire 'crop' in your vicinity, so just let the plants mate in natural type of rhythm with each other.

Vitality makes mature seeds faster than a lot of strains.
Her yield is often medium. For the most part.
Follow your gut. Use fresh pollen before next misting I suppose

Myself and another long timer here, made the original F1.
-and the beans Jenery has, are the F2, S_a_H made, and then donated to the ic server fund @ seedbay.

One misconception is that the strain had too much added indica in it from the flo dad's side.
....I look at this, rather, as 'adding' more 'sativa' into the flo rather than putting indica into kalimist.

Elevator Man mainly bred his flo using various males to seed his favorite females, through the handful of generations which led up to his finding an eventual 'oaxacan sativa leaning' flo pheno. And it was with her offspring that gave the male which was used to make the F1 Vitality, by dusting my best red kali f3 .

Both of Vitality's parents were 'isolated' after they were selected-towards, in generations prior to their discovery.

The red kali was my f3 selection.
I felt good about using it herein because it was so dominantly appearing in the f3, despite the fact that she was seen in just 1 of the 25 total f1 kali beans I germinated.
...later on, I saw her appear in half of the f4. Then in 2/3 of the f5.
