I did something like that before with my feed pump. I thought it benefited water circulation and aeration(I had them shoot at the top of the water in the reservoir). It was pumping the nutrient to the flood table too vigorously and was splashing everywhere prior to the adaptation.

I have been so busy lately trying to get stuff done...

Just finished building a new room.

Okay, not exactly finished but its finished enough to the point that it can start to be used. Oh and the plants that are going into the space have been eating the the light hood for the past week in their old room.

This is like the first space that I've had that I can actually stand up in and then still not be able to reach the ceiling with out the use of a latter or something to stand on. I could run some sativa's, I was just thinking back to the last sativa's that I grew out which were the Merlin's magic from DG and there would be head space to spare this time.

Oh, I can't get any root pictures from those big things. I just need to have an extra set of hands helping hold the plants up while I take the pictures. And the roots are some of the best looking roots I've had.

I started some more seeds two weeks and a day or two ago. Dealing with cold temps around here so I placed a fish tank heater in the tub to keep the water at about 78f. I don't think I have ever mentioned the strain that these are, even though I grew out some of these bean last year and a couple pages back. These are beans that I made, they are 75%Bluemoonshine and 25%Double Dutch.

This is how I start them, I let them stay in the bag for an extra day or so. This helps then to shed their shells with out any outside help.

I normally start feeding them once they are in the unit, but this time I waited until the next day.

Now we come back to the present day with these beans which is two weeks and a day or two days from starting them. I had to remove half of them from the unit and place them in a second unit due to how big they have become.

Okay, here is the most recent room to grow out. These are my BlueMoonShine F2's, plus some F3 beans in select lower branches.

These three are all from the front row, and also have different parents then the other five plants but from the same seed stock.

This one grew shaped like a X-mas tree.

Here are some fresh pics of a Double Dutch. It filled out in a solid way and I saw some of the leaves actually turned red in color, a week ago and they were purple in color

It's been a while, but it's time to start get back to things

I went and started the rest of the seeds from the same batch of f2 Blue Moonshine's last year. I flowered out for seed all of the shortest of the group and seeded them out. Out of the group of 11, only three out of the group have been selected as keepers. Those three where labeled as 10, 11, and 12. 11, and 12 have been flowed out with 11 being stonier then 12, sweeter then 12, but 12 is physically a stronger plant. Grows faster, grows a stronger stem, needs less veg time then number 11.

I've been having some issue's with cuttings for a while with a bubble cloner, uneven root mass on all of the roots when they root out as if they where taken many days apart from each other, so they all very in size instead of being of a uniform size.

I decided that I'd try out some new/old ways that I've done before. I took three trays (18 cube spaces each) of starters in one starter dome. 2 were coco and the other one was vermiculite. At week two all but one of the cuttings in the vermiculite died off. Only a few of the ones in coco didn't make it.

4-8-15 two weeks

Week three and getting ready to transplant. I submerged the rooted cuttings in a bucket of water to free as much of the coco from the root mass as possible.
