Looking real nice.
I highly recommend a longer flush period.
I typically flush 2.5-3 weeks..
U use less nutes n the weed is even smoother n tastier IMO
I like to kill all the fan leaves thru flushing

Its hard for me to start flushing when the plants are about to swell like mother Fuc__rs. I have cut the nutes in half pretty much. Im thinking RO and teas for a week will be nice. If not theres always next round

hey Big Green i just read this whole thread, great job so far! very clean operation, and diligent about the updates too..

I run coco in flood tables and am very curious to see how your coco table compares to your bigger plants. what was the difference in veg time?

I also use H&G aqua flakes, best shit for coco IMO, i usually use about 10ml/gallon. and yah make sure you get those spouts for the bottles or else pouring nutes will be a pain in the ass. btw Do you think the Aptus is worth buying?

keep it up dude, i'll be watching . peace!

The clones were put in the system with in a day of each other. The UC stalled for a little while. The coco plants were topped twice to keep them in check

First time using h&g and first time with aptus so I cant tell ya if its better with out it. Actually first time going all out coco as well.
Final product coco vs UC will tell me a lot of things. Next round may go CS nutes with ogbiowar tea x out the aptus just to see the comparison

Theres gonna be a bunch of different nutes and combos over the next few grows in coco

Hey Big Green, how you finding the humidity in your room? Also where do you take your readings from? I take my readings right above the canopy. In my room right now with lights on and a/c running humidity will drop down to about 60%. As soon as the a/c shuts off humidity begins to climb to about 70% which at that point the a/c is kicking back on. Now with lights off thats another story, my 60 pint can only keep about 72% humidity. Just ordered another 70 pint for now but in the future I'd like to get a Santa Fe.

In the next week or so as plants really start to flower I'm gunna want to drop my room humidity down to 50% so I guess my dehumidifier will run even during lights on!! Are you finding the same? I would think you would have even more humidity in your room since you have the UC system in there?!?! Let me know, thanks bud...

Actually I been fighting the humidity. I have a 70 pint that cant keep up and I just bought a used drizair 110 pint and something is wrong with it. Brought it in for service they say they fixed it but something is still up. I got them both in the room right not keeping it at around 50% day 60% night which I dont like. Gonna bring the 110 pint back to the shop. That thing should handle it all by itself
I would like to be at 45% day 50% night right now

I know what u mean but the assuming u have fed properly up to week 6-7 the plant has everything it needs to finish out stored within itself that's why u flush all that out n let the plant use its reserves saves on cure time and aids smoothness I swear.
Unless u are running a much longer flowering strain that advise applies. My buds finish fat and dense n every leaf in there is dead or solid yellow when I chop.
It's not only about flushing the root system it's about flushing and exhausting all the food in the plant itself. Anyway sure whatever u do will be fine was just a tip I've used for years

loving the grow dude, i didnt think your UC plants were gonna catch up like they have, they're straight killing it!

btw do you still only feed once a day in the coco? next time try more, people are doing 9oz plants in 2-3gal pure coco pots feeding 3-5 times a day... something to think about

Hot Damn! I've gotta see how this turns out. I"m hoping the coco will yield more of a better product but who knows? Either way, coco or uc it can't be done much better than that...Nice grow!
