here is a lambo lol 9 second run the superCobra jet would make it look stupid in quarter mile

that would make you feel pretty cool til the porsche and lambo passed you in the first turn and you realise drag racing isnt half, or even a tenth of real driving. porsche = drivers car. honestly mustang could make their new 2 ton trailer park queen cars fast as a bugatti and i still wouldnt want to be seen in one.

im so glad theres not many people who like porsches than me because while i save up for an 86 911 turbo theyre drooling over cars that belong in front of a mobile home next to a rotted out truck and a few old couches. more for me!

2015 Lexus RCF 450HP (not too shabby) will cost around $70K

lexus-rcf-geneva-2014-01.jpg

Same engine just modified from the ISF (my car, love it, love it), but they are discontinuing this year.

The F brand will be carried on through the RCF and I believe a GSF later.

They new front grill for the Lexus' doesn't do it for me. It's a love it or hate it thing.

There will be a RCF GT3 race car too. 540+HP. Not sure if it will be commercially available though.

Ahh the eagle, such beauty.

I love how everyone is getting so worked up in this forum. The thread title is enough to tell you that not many intelligent points are going to be made.

It's all a matter of preference. A mustang has a basic suspension, and unless it's a roush..... it won't be a refined car (in general). I had a 2wd Hemi Ram, it drove exactly like a mustang. It was a pleasant ride, and you could FLY around corners. But with a mustang, like the ram. You correct based on how sideways the thing is, as opposed to what the feel of the car is telling you.

Ferrari's are for connoisseurs, have you ever heard the stock engine note from any late model Ferrari? It's beautiful. The are excellent to drive, though quite fragile. Or maybe just have expensive parts in harms way..... Maybe the owners just come off as douchey because they have enough money to be wearing $1,000 dollars worth of clothes at all times. They simply have taste AND make themselves known.

Lamborghini's are for douchebags however, because MOST of them are horrible cars..... They simply exist to look at and appeal to gold digging women.

Porsche's are a brand.... Not simply the 911. Yes the 911 is tail happy, but it's a rewarding car to master..... It just takes practice.

A douchebag is somebody who buys their car solely to try to get laid. A cool guy is somebody who isn't ashamed of liking the car that suit them.

well said pizzaman,,,,
I have owned 911s,,87 3.2 coupe with g50 gearbox, 964 c2,,996c4s [worst car out of my porsches] also 928s4 and a 968 sport over the years but still my only long term keeper is my s2,,,very practical for daily driving compared to many other earlier porsches although I tend to use it at weekends now only and use my golf mk5 r32 as a daily,,,lambos too hard to live with,,,
love fezzas but not for me plus could never afford to run one ,how I would like to ie= using her as a daily driver in and around London would be totally impractical and woud get massive bills and I am a Porsche man through and through lol,,,,,now a 993 turbo s really rocks my boat lol

I swear to this day, that 928's have the best door engineering to date (besides heavy plush cars). We have had a couple 928's in the family, I just love a car that's doors sound good when you close them ESPECIALLY if they are classic. Close the door on a new mustang, it will still sound shitty. Close the door on most old cars, and you will hear loud latches and bad window tracks.

My neighbor has a metallic blood red slant nose with a whale tail (at least a replica idk) with HUUUUGE gold centered/ polished beauty ringed bbs rims on it. I just feel like the crack head in Menace to society when I see him go down the road...... "I'll suck your dick man!"

pizzaman,,a wise buy now would be a lovely 928gts,,still fetching good money and will go up in the future but does less to the gallon then a 70s rolls Royce silver shadow lol,,,,,thinking of selling my s2 and getting another 968 sport,,clubsports bit too much for everyday driving unless bucket seats were removed and comfort seats put in but even then its just a little too "hardcore",,so a sport it could be but letting my s2 go is gonna be heartbraking lol and still don't know if I could let her go and yes I love the heavy thud a Porsche door makes when being closed:biggrin:,,,peace and regards s2
