How well is the light penetrating into the canopy? Do you plan to spread the branches after stretch?

Light penetration is okay-ish right now. But I did have the same thought about spreading the branches at some point. Not really sure how I'll go about that though. I'll just figure it out when the time comes.

And im gonna go out on a limb, temp date if you will, and say Im not worried, I think it'll be a female. Im yet to see a male in real life, and every other seed from the batch has been female. So, it'll be aiight.

And got some decent genetics today. A lil different to what I mentioned earlier. Got 11 seeds in the end. All feminised. Check out the pic:

They are actually not bad! Is Tutankhamon the ak-47 selected pheno? supposed to be strong!

Except for the GHS beans, personally I would germinate those in the rubbish bin

Yea im probably most excited by the Tutankhamon. It is the AK47 I believe. And yea, I read things about it being quite high in thc so should be interesting. The CSS should be alright to. The rest are neither here no there imo but still, proper genetics so I'll take them over a bag seed anyday.

You going to stick with you're tried and true methods for the future grows? Or going to try a different grow medium out or something to see if it suits you?

Yep. Im glad they're feminised. Don't like the idea of planting and hoping. Helps with planning if you know what you're gonna get.

Not sure about future grows. Willing to change it up down the line sometime, but for the immediate future I'll probably just stick with what seems to be working.

Nope, I didn't top, just the LST. I personally don't think there is any need to top when doing LST. If I had topped id have one more cola but would've stressed the plant, and maybe slowed the growth. I dunno...just my way of doing it.

Don't know the volume of the pot...old pot I had lying around. But it 30cm tall and 30cm wide at the rim. I guess you could do the math to get a rough estimate if you were so inclined. Im not fussed. All I know is ideally it would be a bit bigger. But oh well.

Thats exactly what im always thinking about when i top my plants.
But i find it difficult to lst them in a way that they dont have the topcola anymore... to you supercrop the mainstam to terminate the dominant growth of it?

So just did a bit of work and spread of the canopy a bit and just tried to make it a lil more even. A few of the tops we're getting a lil taller than the rest so I tied those down a bit too. I'll get some pics up later as I'll give it time to right itself first.

Also, after some swapsies and some extra freebies, this is the list of seeds I've ended up with:
3 x Big Bang by GreenHouse
3 x The Doctor by GreenHouse
2 x Critical Sensi Star by Delicious
2 x White Widow x Big Bud by Female
1 x Tutankhamon by Pyramid
1 x Lemon Kush by Female
1 x Afghan Kush by World of Seeds
1 x Green Love Potion by Samsara
14 seeds total. All feminised.

That's pretty good considering it cost me nothing, ey. Can't wait.

Everything seems to be moving along nicely.

You can see how I've spread the branches out a bit. If you compare the overhead shot to the last overhead shot I posted, you can really see the difference. Much less leaves overlapping now. And all the tops are just about dead level. Hopefully they stay even now...Ill have a hard time trying to do more I reckon.
