If you grow because you love the plant, your caring and attention to detail will show in the final product.

I M O California is done. Period. Top growers are all pulling early. Why not ? It's not worth $hit anymore.Maybe BOG can sell his wares. Good on Ya Ol' Man.

I was given a bud of Sour Bubble from His Hand thru a friend. It's good. Not to die for though. About as good as my Cheesequake number 1. But because Yours are BOG, yours sells.

Quality is nowhere near as important as who you know who has money, anymore.

I am no longer in CA, and very happy for that. Pot people in NorCal absolutely SUCK compared to people in other places. The POS factor still exists where I now am, but it is the exception, rather than the rule.

So glad I made the move.

I almost feel pity for the way that the Emerald Triangle growers, brokers, and People in General comport themselves. They Prey upon each other exclusively anymore. Pulling their indoor at 42 days. And bragging, bragging. The normal conversations in Bragg Land are mean-spirited gossip and Bluster Braggadoccio.

I feel as if a deadly toxin has been removed from my system. Now I just need 4 months or so to restore my faith in Humanity's Humanity. Happens every time I come here, eventually, I get used to People being at least semi-ethical.

Your meticulous hand trimming does not make the bud smoke better, as much as the pot snobs try to fool themselves that it does.

you're right, it doesn't and as a matter of fact the closer you trim your bud, the greater loss of trichomes occurs from the trimming process, storage/curing, the bag (especially the bag!) , compacting, transporting, re-weighing, re-bagging into smaller deals etc. Those smaller leaves help protect the exterior resin heads from all the handling and plastic baggings.

Presentation counts...and it counts a lot for many people (I'm definitely not one of them)...presentation doesn't get you high. I quite enjoy the whole process of selecting a bud, then spend about 10 or 20 seconds to snip off the small bud leaves prior to grinding and packing a bowl.

Plastic bags do a better job than the DEA for reducing cannabis resin usage.....plastic bags are the worst thing possible to put bud into...yet every single deal from 100 kilos down to a 0.8 gram bag are packed into resin robbing plastic bags...there must be a better way. People pay thousands for bud, yet 20 ~30% of the resin is missing by the time they get it to smoke it...lol stupid and stupider....don't believe me, try this - use magnification to check out any plastic bag that has had bud in it and you will see hundreds or thousands of smeared resin heads, lost for ever...damn what a stupid waste.

I don't feel bad for anyone not getting what they want for their product,,,pot growers hiding under the umbrella of medical marijuana in one hand and the complainers that they aren't getting the money they want from their product from the other hand....Ohh cry me a friggin river...So your income goes from $150,000 per year TAX FREE to $100,000 per year TAX FREE

Bag appeal only equates to trichs and trimming.

A bud that has been flushed better may have some yellow on the bud.

Presentation equals less flushing and more N in flower...makes the finished product look better......and you can believe there's probably some avid and floramite in there.

It's all relative and makes me laugh.

You don't understand cost, Electricity + Space cost = Isn't cheap and that's not including nutes...If MMJ growing was legit I would pay taxes tomorrow, but no its not, we got cities in cali banning MMJ shops instead of regulating and its all because we got ignorant people like you running our state and local government.

Prices wont stop me from doing something I love to do

So if prices won't stop you...then why do you call me ignorant...

If the federal government regulates it like alcohol and tabbacco, then yes, the price will go up. They will tax the livin shit out of it here in the USA.

I can't say that I agree with mud, but I don't disagree either. Not everyone can be a farmer or even closet grower for that matter. I sure we can all remember a time when we didn't have the means. Some of us are going through it now. I totally respect the standpoint of the people who these stupid low prices are affecting, I also respect and appreciate tasty high quality herb, but with where I am at in my life, right now getting a shit ton of mid grade bud for a great deal would be equivalent to a lottery win. That's just me though.

They can't tax "the livin shit out of it."

We have all grown up with illegal weed and know how to make it work. No taxes, no regulation, lots of money unless you get busted. Lots of us would gladly pay some taxes to get it legal but... If they tax it too high then right back it goes underground. The goverment(s) can't get too greedy or they will produce the same problems they have now with enforcement only worse.

I worry a lot more about the cannabis equivalent of big tobacco taking over the market in the event of legalization.

I've been in the business I'm in for 30 years. There are dealers who deal in $25 dollar widgets and dealers like myself who specialize in $100,000.00 and up rarities.

In the lower categories there's always a battle to the bottom, who is going to sell for $5 bucks less then the next guy and use that loss ( they think ) to gain a new customer and then over time sell them what you really want to sell them. It rarely worlks. Cheap widgets cheap customers.

I started specializing in the bigger stuff 23 years ago after getting my brains beat in by the beat you to the bottom crowd. We've made millions and are ready to retire while the beat em to the bottom crowd? They're still there, beating beating beating. Keep beating!

There will always be a buyer for true quality and there will always be a buyer who is willing to pay, in some cases whatever it takes to get the best. Always. It's your choice who you wish to deal with. It's your choice what level of quality, whatever the product may be to deal in. Some like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus etc. Some...........don't.

P.S. I'm one of those buyers willing to pay whatever it takes to get the best by the way.:)

i love this guy :thank you:

Oh and btw if you are making only 40K/year by growing....no offense

You're not a very good grower

its more like 70K-100K/per year

I worry a lot more about the cannabis equivalent of big tobacco taking over the market in the event of legalization.

Thats why I fear it will never pass federal legislation, and will eventually fail in the states that legalize it unless they prevent people from growing it. Its not like alcohol or tobacco, both of which are much too labor intensive and time consuming to produce enough for strictly personal use. Have you all been seeing the crazy increase in the price of equipment? Lights I looked at last year and bought setting up my first grow have gone up almost 40 bucks in less than a year. Lots of people are getting into this growing thing now. The problem IS the taxation. I'm not paying taxes on weed, I'll just grow it, and with just the small setup I have, I can easily grow more than I can smoke. If people I knew were down to chip in on bills and supplies, I'd give it away rather than see a friend go spend money at the store. Who the fuck knows what Monsanto and RJ reynolds will be spraying on the damn weed like they do cigarettes. Probably nicotine so you get addicted, or tasty puff type bullshit to mask/enhance flavors. Some type of artificial KUSH flavoring. Ugh.......scary times. When they start writing all those big ass checks, all these oh so conscientious growers will hand over those genetics so they can patent them; the feminized seed thing has already begun.
