http://area51lighting.com/the160.html These seem to be well made panels and two of them should absolutely rock your tent.
Whether you go for these or not think about - multiple small panels or if you go for one big unit then a light mover can help you get the coverage that you need. Coverage is vital as light from LEDs doesn't spread well and you usually only grow well what is directly under the fixture and within 2 to 6 inches of the sides (or in other words add 4 - 12 inches to the width and length of the fixture and that's your good flower area).

120 L x 0,50 W

is that in cm? the 0,50 is throwing me off. If its just 120x50 cm that's roughly a 4x2 tent, the Advanced 400DS is my favorite light, and will cover that area perfectly. although it might be too much light for that area if you can't move them up very high. They need to be 30-60cm from the canopy to avoid bleaching.

The Diamond series is doing great, it gets the job done.

I've used a few blackstar fixtures that are not half as good.

its been over a year without any issues. My brother got all the 100's that I have, and he had some fan issues with them at first, but they sent out the fan drivers fast. They've been fine for a year or so.

I'd think the two 200's would probably be best.

jeans91, I contacted eshine in the past to ask the same question; they told me they did produce the ds for advance... however, not anymore. they split up because of manufacturing prices it seems.

I asked for the eshine price for their ds, and the price is pretty high, almost the same as the advance pricing...

I dunno who is making the ds for advance now though.

hard to say what to do, whether to buy from eshine or advance... many people prefer to deal with advance in the U.S than with eshine in China though.

peace!

The fan issues were from some of the earlier eshine models, or atleast thats what I'm guessing since they have an ES serial number, and my 400ds (ordered later) does not have a number at all.

They were also using soldiered fans/power, vs the plug type on the later. They sent both types just in case.

eshine was doing business with advanced in the beginning, but that stuff should be long gone. According to Advanced were having quality control issues, so they dropped them as a supplier. According to eshine it was that they one day didn't like the price that they agreed on. One thing is for sure, the price:quality ratio was off, otherwise they never would need to switch.

Given the fans in the earlier models were defective in my 100's; and when working on them they were soldiered to the cheapest standard (wires were not long enough, so they broke off), I'm going to take Advanced's word on this matter.

I'm trying to get a referral-discount on some more 400ds fixtures, if you order one try and drop my name if you can. That doesn't change my recommendation for their LED's, I believe they're the best out there for what I'm doing. There might be cheaper LED's out there that compare in quality, but I wont risk it, its cheaper to just buy the one's I can conform work very well.

i dunno, they might have my nickname, it wasnt exactly a formal arrangement, just something I asked about when looking into new lights.

i'm not sure the yield with the current setup. Never tried the solarstorm, havent put much effort into finding those perfect LED's since getting the 400ds.
