multi-strain perpetual SOG with cfls

We'll I'm taking a little trip up the mountains this weekend, and thinking bout chopping a few things down to leave dry when I go... be sure to take some pics of that.

And I was planning on taking some clones up the mountains to take my first shot at outdoor but after reading a bit, I have come to the conclusion that it's too early to plant clones outdoors. Is this correct? I have read they will begin flowering if they have been under 18/6 or more and there isn't 14 hours of daylight yet.

So I think I will just be scouting out the area to find some nice spots then the beginning of May I'll bring some clones back up there!

Yeah, sounds reasonable. It might also be too cold yet in the nights, depending on your latitude...
Anyway it's only a few more weeks so don't risk your clones, that's what i would say.

In between 41 and 42 N closer towards 42.... I checked the weather think it is still in the 30s at night so I'm gonna do the smart thing and save the clones for a few more weeks!

only thing I'm worried about is how big they will get with extra month of veg, might be to big to transport?

Ok knowing that I still have followers gives me some motivation to do some proper updates for this thread...

Ok for my own sake and if anyone is interested here is a complete rundown of what is in veg and flower currently and what is soon to come...

We will start out with the most mature and work our way down the line...

GDPxQuerkle (2 phenos) day 66, getting chop VERY soon, getting impatient...
BKGK BX1 day 66, will let mature til atleast day 77 or so-had some complications this round
CBxDB Bx1 day 53, getting a full 9 weeks for sure...
2 BKGK Bx1 clones, day unknown? will take down when other BKGK Bx1 comes down
1 Bagseed plant, pollinated by male plant from same bagseed... day unknown?
1 clone of each pheno of GDPxQuerkle, day 37.
2 Resin Hessassin clones, 1 flipped at 3", other at 4". about day 20?
1 CBxDB Bx1 clone, day 10 or 14?
1 Resin Hessassin clone in yogurt cup for yogurt cup challenge...
1 Blue Dream II tester from HOL - day 1 flower.

I think that is everything in flower...

VEG
1 Resin Hessassin mom, probably 2nd or 3rd generation clone by now...
2 BKGK BX1 moms
1 CBxDB Bx1 mom
1 mom each of two different GDPxQuerkle phenos... one of these is getting the boot
3 KROM testers
3 Blue Dream II testers
4 or 5 clones of RH in beer cups...
1 CBxSB seedling
1 Chemmy Jones seedling

I think that is everything...
pretty much everything listed is about to get clones taken...

As soon as I harvest these GDPxQuerkles I'm throwing all the testers into flower to start sexing!

What's next?

Well I got some testers coming from RedEyedNReady Genetics, Connoisseur Genetics, and also some from a very nice friend of mine! Don't think I can spill the beans just yet but I can't wait to tell you guys the awesome genetics I'm about to test...

So yeah that's pretty much it, I think...

Yes these testers are some stretchy ones!! Idk If you can see but the heights they were at when put into flower is recorded on the label. Most of these have doubled in just a little over a week!

she was flipped on 2/25 so thats makes ....

Prob let the pheno pictured ripen up til the weekend... or so...

These GDPxQuerkles can deff use a nice veg time... I get scared to veg too long because i have limited headroom and I am use to dealing with bending girls over from running into the lights.... These girls don't have an insane amount of stretch tho.

I think you will be satisfied with them, no doubt... if you have room, pop the whole pack... makes it easier to find the keeper... I popped two and I just know for a fact that my real keeper is waiting for me in the rest of the pack...

I'll warn you now, if you start from the beginning, it's a little messy... I change my mind like 100 times...

Right now all I am doing is building a 2x2 cab to replace my current one and throwing all the equipment I currently have in the new one...


After that I am starting to build a NEW area, which will be utilizing a 400w of some sort... but I don't need help on that yet...

Here is a little update for anyone interested...

So I put two clones of Resin Hessassin in flower a few days apart from each other, one at 3" and the other at 4" tall.... this was around the end of march...

here is what they look like today...

4" one... it can't even hold itself up... it flops over completely... has to be rested against the walll...

3" one, grew into a pretty much perfect cola... stands up on its own...

Everyone talked shit on Dr. Bud but he knew his shit, if you flowered at the wrong height for your setup, you are in for a lot of trouble... if you flower at the sweet spot, you will be in for a nice easy and painless grow with a nice easily trimmed harvest...

In my beginner days SOG didn't really work out for me that well, but I am beginning to get more interested in it again..
