Unthing, Hey buddy. No not yet. I can't get a good look at the buds in the back of the cab for comparison. They look very sticky, but I think it has more to do with genes than anything else at this point.
Don't use this grow as an argument for, or against, UV-b in the final fase though. With 55W the entire cab gets a bit. Can't tell if the ones in the back has gotten enough while those in front gets more than plenty.


Hey Zapot. I did know of the chlorophyll reduction before i put them in, but wanted to know how big the negative effect would be in the growing phase, compared to the benefit of more compact growth.
The choice of bulb had a lot to do with what was available in Pl-l too.
I love the effect I've had from my grows without additional UV (I use diamond glass though), but I don't know if it is just me loving other cannabioids than just THC. I like weed that gets me high but still slows my brain down a bit.
I wonder how weed grown and flushed under chlorophyll reducing light cures up though.

Toker, I removed a tip of one of the buds for the microscope pics. The bud's closest to the uv almost stopped growing when i put in the bulbs, but the tips looks like they are ahead by a week or more in maturation

Strangly, they do bush-up a little more in the pre-flowering stage running hydro IMO.

I'd love to do a run of cindy without the uv-c later on. This will be the lowest yield of the cab ever, and she did look like she should yield up to the bulb change.

I'll try to go super macro tonight. The microscope can go 8x closer than I did on those pics.

I see your point and suggest you to try UV-A only in the very end of the flowering only for a relatively short period. Just as a shock! That might give you some interesting results maybe to chlorophyll reduction but other things too. btw. I also like some other effects then just the most upper high as it can be a bit tedious. After all i am a representative of the old school, some might say. Keep up the good work!
