new manifold in progress. ..

new manifold in progress. ..

RE-Using the VEG closet manifold.

1/2" pvc right to each pool.
3 - 3/8" lines feeding out from the manifold.

1 line left- over 4 pots
1 line right- over 4 pots
1 line one and a half times around the pool.

All 3 line connected to a "Y" connector.

Figure ill use small holes over pots and through out the lines...

I'll try and finish one tomorrow.

For now im hand watering each pool-2.5 gallons-Twice a day..

Any suggestions on what size holes I should use on the pulse tubing ?

I'm thinking
1 hole at each plant site. Left-right line's.
Then a hole about every 6" on the line that goes 1-1/2 times around the pool..

This is 3-x-300 gal pumps-through 1/2" pvc right up to the 2 pools-into 3/8" line's. .

it will be interesting to compare the plants that were repotted vs the ones left in air/smart pots
in theory the ones left in pots should do better but i like a side vs side
i still cant get my head around the what or why, but i love the audaciousness of it all.
keep up the good work

I would expect this thread ta last 2-7 days as it is only for the build and I will do the grow in my main vert thread.

I am a believer in the 15 minutes of work getz ya 45 minute of chill..
So..
Joints on all the tables.. Jars are full and admission is free..
Material-
2 x 43"Wide Pools.
8 x 10 gallon blue totes.
3/8" Black line's
PPK- System

Custom built pulse manifold
(Most likely-wave pulsing as the volume of water need to flood seems silly to try and handle)

Medium - Turface/coco/perlite mix (cleansed)

14 to 16 plants total - I have 21 ladies and 1 Pop to fit in.

By now my totes are dry enough from the washing to start the build so.....

See ya in 15 Minutes...

This being day 7. Looks like I'll needs ta wrap this thread up today...

Woke up this morning to 105 degree temps in the tent.
Ain't that but a biatch.

I think moving my exhaust to the side hurt my temps a few degrees though only a little heat could be from this...(5-10 degrees)

Think ill toss my portable AC in the closet and feed the cool air into the tent ...

Also have a window ac, yet no good place ta put it.

The window is behind the tent with a 2' space between...

Filling the control tote and install the float valve. Volume tank and I'm a done deal.

The ladies are growing and i'll need ta start training soon..

I might hack 1/3 off the tops of the biggest ladies (Kong) (GSC)(80's Bag)
So as ta get a even canopy. Or close ta even..lol

Keeping in mind this is a seed grow and not a yield grow.
I now have 1.75 lb of great smoke , with plans for a pound per-grow in 6 month's. ..:woohoo:

yes you could, good idea for controlling heat. u gotta divide that tent in half & seal it LIGHT PROOF and prbably add a second exaust unless you figure a light proof way for air to still exchange between the 2 chambers....

Great idea bro...
Easily done with refelctive walls from home depot.
Light proof and 10'x4' sheets are only $12.00..

I sure could use a 8" fan & scrubber in here.
Yet...
I promised the GF I wouldn't by anymore toys this season.
That bites...lol

Thanks. :ying:
