I've faded them out to yellow and the only difference I've noticed is lack of density. It's usually all about the trichs and density and along with that the funk that wafts off the flowers.

^^^^^

thats all fine , but unless you flush till the leaves fade .... 9 outa 10 times theres still to much nutrient in the plant & it kills the taste .

I have 1 strain that is the same way green as hell til harvest and taste is fantastic, But the rest of my strains yellow out around week 6-7 and I feed at 5 grams per gallon til flush! But the strain that stays green is freakishly fast 48 days max from start of 12-12. I have use Maxibloom, House and garden and AN with sample dark green leafs at harvest! If I starve it to get leafs to yellow taste and yield goes south!
The info link Dorky posted is interesting and I hope it is real and not photochopped! Would like to hear more about it!

Here is what Chris had to say about the lab report:
Thank you for your concern. Just one of those small business hurdles. The lab report attached was issued by the state and is in the process of being resolved. The state is requiring us to half our current values to meet their criteria for a "powder" nutrient. We were also trying to guarantee Silica, amino acids, fulvics etc. on our new label but have hit roadblocks with California requiring third party lab fees, which could range into the thousands of dollars, to guarantee additives. For now we will be filing the most limited guaranteed analysis to keep the label licensed.

I think this means we've only been getting 1/2 of what we thought we were getting. This could explaine some minor deficincies I got this round compared to the past tub.

Sorry guys, didnt finish my post, above^^^

Or it have been becausce I started cutting back after week 3 as post a couple pages back, I normally dont cut bact untill after week 5 going into week 6, and have great success, this round was on the lighter side compared to past runs.

Chris later said its just a labeling issue, that the mix hasnt changed it's still the same and we'll still be getting the same product just the label will change. I trust Chris I've picked his brain alot over the years, he's alway been honest and straight up. No worries here the stuff flat out works.

"powder" or liquid does not matter the criteria they want on the label is guaranteed minimum.

So if you have 10% nitrogen on the label the product should be at least 10% nitrogen by volume. If that product actually had 30% or 40% or 50% nitrogen it would be fine as long as it has 10% or more.

house and garden puts low numbers like 0.1 nitrogen 0.3 potassium so they never have to worry cause they are more like 4% nitrogen and 6% potassium.

For someone who spent 20+ Years perfecting there formula You would figure they actually know whats in it and know that the numbers they claim are not even possible.

Kinda reminds me of when advanced nutrients got there old school Big Bud Powder pulled.
They put 7% magnesium on the label when it was like 0.5%

What sucked is I was using it thinking I had ample Mg but I was getting defciencys. So I was chasing other reasons why.

Yup, i made the switch to super nat a while back and feel better about it as i have not had the issues i was having with V+B.

Seems like one of those typical bait and switch maneuvers in that once you get the business you can cut some corners to lower costs and increase revenues.

Something has changed , not drasticly mind you .... but i have to use a tsp more than i did with the last batch to get the same EC . haven't noticed any defs ..... but i did notice my PH is much more steady .

With all the changes going on with v+b I rather not deal with it. Seems like they started out really good not saying the aren't good anymore but seems people are having more issues then they were before using v+b .

OG KUSH grown with Veg+Bloom RO and DIRTY. We switched to the dirty at week 4 and dropped in some MOAB and this is the best batch of kush we have ever run. We are def hitting 1.5-2 per light with the powder.
