Nice design PinkRabbit, one thing im curious about is what kind of exhaustfan are you gonna be using?
hi, good Q and i already have an answer :) i will try to install one of the bathroom exhausts i got somewhere. it is quite powerful however it might be too noisy. need to find it first :bashhead: and then test...

goodluck with your floweringcab Rabbit
thanks! :) fingers crossed!
and thanks a lot for your advice on replanting deep up to cotyledon level - sounds great and i will definitely do that next time i sprout some beans :thank you:

Can't wait to see the next build.

i regret to inform you all that pink rabbit is a plant torturer and seedling abuser!

his lack of experience (or sclerosis) lead to moderate plant harm as depicted below.

...it all begun so nice this morning. rabbit woke up, had his coffee, lurked around at his meadow and came down to his burrow. to his eyes came a picturesque bunch of healthy plants...

pink rabbit took them out of the cab, one by one and inspected thoroughly. at first he focused on the youngest of his seedlings, i.e. the chemDoggDD-x-SDibl.

happy about their condition he moved on to the older HotMix.

WAIT A SEC! did i say 'a bunch of healthy plants'???

rabbit was so shocked to discover that the HotMix seem to suffer, as indicated by their yellowing leaves!

pink rabbit rushed to see the other two and his shock reinforced!
'OMG' he said 'they are all a bit yellow!'

'i need to do something about it right now!' he pinpointed the situation and its requirements.

so he immediately reached for the bigger pots he had around, brought fresh new soil to the burrow and gently took out the first seedling out of its little pot.

rabbit was thrilled to see the following rootbound:

needless to say, pink rabbit repotted the whole 3 of the seedlings

and he promised to himself
'i will never ever again let you poor plants stay for so long in such small pots!'.
he decided that the chemDoggDD-SDibl will definitely be repotted once they get max 10 days old.

besides, pink rabbit listened to what his friends were saying:
what kind of medium are they in? time for their first feeding maybe?

and decided to start on some early nutes for his older plants.

sorry, mom ;) excuse my wrong doing! i will be good now!

did you make sure to water them in to their new home? what kind of medium are they in?
they are in pure soil. now i added some chicken manure into their new pots (it dissolves slowly in the medium). i will keep an eye on them and add more nutes should it be clear they need it.
they surely received some generous watering after the repotting action.

hah cute, I love the writing style.
my pleasure, buddy :tiphat:
glad you enjoyed. stay relaxed!

Aye...could be a book to read to my one year old.

lol :D thx for comments, guys. i feel encouraged to continue... ;)

...and so the next day pink rabbit came down to his burrow full of concerns about the yellowing plants.

'did i do all possible to fix the issue?' he thought to himself and kept repeating 'oh rabbit, rabbit! never do that again you stupid ... stupid... hare!'.

as he reached the cab mumbling under his pink nose and his short whiskers, he opened the door and breathed a sigh of relief.
the 3 Hot Mix plants clearly recovered after repotting:

'lucky me!' yelled the rabbit.

...next, pink rabbit lurked at the ChemdoggDD-x-SDibl and observed with contentment that this bunch is developing nicely:

he was just a little surprised that they don't all grow with even paste, as the Hot Mix did.

after the repotting action pink rabbit realized that the cab will only accommodate a few of the bigger pots.
in other words, after repotting the Chemdoggs some of the plants will have to leave the CFL cab. and that moment is coming soon as the last thing rabbit wants to do now is lead to another rootbound of the Chemdoggs.

that said, pink rabbit went to check on his second cab under construction and made sure all was set for the arrival of new inhabitants.

End of Chapter 3 - to be continued

i sure hope so  thx for comment, fratello!

now, here's an update

Chemdoggs were repotted today, at their 10th day of life.
luckily no sign of rootbound, though the roots were already well developed and visible.

here they are after repotting:

imho they look fine...?

as you see in the last pic above, the rabbit burrow now hosts only the Chemdoggs

this is because the Hot Mix were moved to the rabbit warren!
here are their pics before they moved (17 days old today).

i think they look quite vigorous after the repotting, do you agree? :)

oh i forgot to mention that i topped them after repotting to encourage new branches.

and here they are now:

what do you reckon, fellows?
