BCBD adds animal cookies to their strain list

Just saw this today. Description says that bcbd's cut of gsc won the ht med cup. Say's the animal is fire og bx3. So whats up? I know aninal, alpine animal, and gsc cookies are all grown by members here, and the bcbd description leads me to believe somebody on here might know them or at least know if they are telling the truth.

They aren't and their strain description is truly shameful. It was the forum cut that won and yeah they probably flew down to SF and picked up a bunch but it is not their cut that won and the bogus claim to creating Animal Cookies is beyond weak.

it really is big business for so called cannabis "breeders" to rip off people with fake genetics....makes me downright angry and sad that this shit happens. BCBD needs to be put out of itsmisery along with all the other scam artist hacks in this industry...the pictures they used for their website are stolen from IC growers who do not know BCBD. they are stealing other peoples ideas and cashing in on ignorance. BCBD has been known for this for a long time yet are still in business because there is a sucker born every minute..

Yeah as soon as I saw that all I could do was shake my head. It's bullshit because people will fall for it and buy them. Why they think they can pull shit like that is beyond me, and how they can feel good about doing shit like that is pretty messed up. It's obvious they are on IC and are watching close to find the next strain name they can steal to make money of their crap seeds. But do you really know what you are talking about sed company has be known to do this before, and not just once..I have known for at least 5 years that place is a SCAM, and I would never spend a cent at that place..

No that's not what they're doing. They're claiming both that they won something they didn't and that they created another strain they didn't. They're not claiming they copied Animal Cookies but that they "knew they had something" and created it through months of breeding. Besides being a straight up lie that's also stealing in my book...but there's a sucker born every second so they'll get away with it.

your so right...or they talk to their buddies..hey have you heard of Chemdog or GS Cookies, then go home and try to find it on the internet..and now seeds are so much more available...so we have lots of companies taking advantage..

Yeah that's shitty to make claims and steal pics, but it doesnt seem so unreasonable that they could have these cuts.

Im not defending BCBD Im just saying everyone else does the same thing with hot clones.

Im actually shocked Reserva Privada hasn't rolled out with the GSC and AC yet.

Their pics of the GSC is SmokeTrees and the pic of the Animal Cookies is UnknownProphets if I am not mistaken. So they are stealing the pictures from this site to sell their seeds. If they legitimately had them then they would have their own pictures to use.

I agree it's not unlikely that they acquired them and I personally don't fault them for that. It's trying to capitalize on somebody else's hard work and pass it off as their own that pisses me off.

whats wrong is 1. stealing pictures from other growers 2. taking a clone-only strain, then outcrossing or making S1s and then claiming the seeds will be exactly like the original clone WITHOUT testing them first to check 3. stealing an entire identity, claiming others work as your own 4. not responding to or getting into internet wars defending your dishonorable methods..

the list goes on and on...

if they called it "animal crackers" and claimed they were trying to replicate to clone, not a big deal IMO..but they are downright claiming to be making the actual cut....their supposedly fireogBX male is NOT verified and even if it was its different from the original cross...
