Cann's Organic No-Till Garden

Got the new bulbs installed, and had to raise the lights cause these ladies are stretching so damn much! these bulbs are literally 2x brighter than my last ones...which at this point I have figured out were around a year old. this is a blessing and a curse, as the increased brightness has also increased the temperature of my tent ~8 or 9 degrees. not a good thing, as the summer rapidly approaches and I will be battling heat 24/7. working on acquiring another A/C unit...

Here is the flower room with lights raised + new bulbs installed. You can see how much these ladies have been stretching...its crazy.

Clover coming up nicely. it tends to get crushed when I water, but enough will survive to provide a decent cover. I don't want the entire pot covered with clover, just patches here and there.

Lookin good dooood

I have found my cut of God's Gift to be a PITA as well.

Gifted from a friend

Haven't flowered it out yet but it's slow to veg and seems sensitive to my fresher soil.

Two 25 gal Smart pots with IDENTICAL mixes cycled for IDENTICAL times.

J-one in one pot GG in the other.

The J-one took off like a bat out of hell, the GG got some burn and some other leaves doing funky things I just can't put my finger on.

But alas i do have some great memories of some beautiful GG from back in the day (not grown by myself) so maybe the flowers will make it all worth it eh? She's going to finish up under the sun....

Well done Canna! Those pics of your clones have convinced me to move away from the nasty rooting hormones, thanks!

HERE HERE! That is exactly what happened to me too! I had a brand new jar of Root Tech, checked out the ROLS megathread, tried the aloe mix, LOVED IT!, and then promptly gave away an almost full container of Root Tech to another grower friend. Been harping the Aloe song to him for months now, and finally his interest peaked on the subject after he saw my girls in flower. I have been ordered to grow a lot of aloe plants outside this year heh heh heh!
I <3 Aloe Vera

whats up bubblebert! thanks man...glad to hear you have befriended aloe like many of us here. i remember cootz once said "make aloe vera your second favorite plant".

aint that the truth...

have you checked out the 200X freeze dried powder? stuff is awesome, and way cheaper than buying bottles of aloe juice.

of course, if you have access to fresh plants that is the best option, but for some of our gardens it is just unreasonable. can't be filleting and juicing a dozen aloe leaves every watering...unless you really want to put in that work. the powder is real handy

Well, that and the growing of hops LOL.

ha...was so stoned I didn't even think of that. yeah, i like growing hops. they smell great, and remind me a lot of weed which I can't grow outdoors here unfortunately. the preflower pistils of hops look identical to cannabis...pretty awesome actually.

seen pictures of a hops plant grafted to a cannabis mom...not sure if its real or not, but fucking awesome nonetheless. pretty sure they are very similar botanically so it is possible to graft...

the vines can grow 15 feet or more down here, its fun to watch. string em up with some hemp twine between trees :huggg:

Brewer here, too. I was going to ask how you were planning on managing those hops when they start climbing. I've grown a few varieties in the past (all outdoors) and they're nuts.
