Maybe in the early days when only the gracies knew how to fight like professionals, but today? Heh! I cant see them taking ANY of todays fighters, even when bruce n chuck were prime.... Todays crew would regulate.

Chuck Norris can make Batman cry.

Chuck Norris can tap dance in flip flops.

Someone told Chuck Norris that roundhouse kicks are'nt the best way to kick someone. This has been recorded by historians as the worst mistake anyone has ever made!

Chuck Norris grates cheese with his abs.

Chuck Norris has a grizzly bear rug in his room. The bear isn't dead, it's just too afraid to move.

as much as i dislike seagal for being a cop wannabe he has trained anderson silva

seagal is the real deal even though he is a bit pompus

Seagal shit his pants when he got chocked out by Gene Lebell who was in his 70's at the time.

You have to remember UFC is done by weight class, so Bruce Lee would have been probably lightweight or even featherweight, and hell yeah he would have been the champ!! Imo the current world champs at his weightclass would have been no match for Bruce Lee in his prime. As was earlier said he was lightyears ahead of his peers and one of the fastest martial artists of all time. When he did movies, they had to slow some of his scenes down as the camera would miss his combos etc

Chuck Norris would have been in a weight class or 2 above Bruce Lee, probably somewhere around middle or welterweight, so he'd have to fight either Anderson Silva or George St Pierre (today's champions respectively) and imo he'd lose to both (badly), especially Anderson Silva who is pound for pound probably the best fighter in the world at the moment.

Steven (Seagull) would have been another great one to watch in the UFC, he did infact train Anderson Silva at some point so for sure he's the real deal too. Although, probably to his disadvantage he would have been a heavyweight or light heavyweight and would probably get raped by the likes of Jon Jones or Cain Velasquez. And also he is an Aikido specialist which may have left him lacking a bit in MMA

Wesley Pipes or Jean Claude would also get raped, although maybe Jean Claude could have represented i really don't know enough about him to be sure

A superfight id like to see would be Anderson Silva vs Bruce Lee, if their weights were evened up a bit.

Cool thread anyway thought id chime in, bit of a UFC MMA fan here! :joint:

I think it would REALLY depend on which era of UFC you would pertain the aforementioned. UFC in it's infancy had only a few rules. Today it is riddled with rules (in order to make it less "barbaric"). Jeet Kun Do is, as is, Brazilian jui jitsu, arts incorporating kata (forms) and techniques of leverage, speed, body mechanics as well as human anatomy. Chuck Norris was personally trained by Bruce Lee. As were a lot of stars at that time. (Kareem Abdul Jabar, George Lazenby, James Coburn and Steve McQueen to name a few). Look up Bruce Lee's famous one inch punch. He was way beyond being just ahead of his time. He incorporated many arts that are hundreds of years old, and made them more efficiente.

Anyone see the first UFC's? Today weight matters. Back then it didn't. It's what you knew, and can do. To Bruce, weight didn't necessarily mean anything. Nor the pioneers of the UFC. Gracie family, Kimo, Marco Ruas, Bas Rutten, Lions Den clan, Randy Couture, Jeremy Horn, to name a few, as well as Keith Hackney fought Emmanuel Yarborough. 400 pound difference. Back then no weight classes. Back then you HAD to fight up to 8 dudes in 1 night!! Not today's 6 month rest between fights. So it really depends on the era. But IMHO, Bruce would dominate UFC then, and now. Not so much the others. Segal was a good practitioner, but he doesn't/didn't have the "stuff". But fights are strange. You never know.

I think Bruce Lee would be able to compete against the best UFC fighters in his weight class.
He used to make protein drinks from raw meat and was obsessed with all of that health fitness science.
I think his creative mind & confidence would also be an important factor. Much like Anderson Silva.

Of course, i can only imagine....

Bruce Lee didn't want any part of it when it came to actual combat. Based on that i would say Chuck would fair much better against the current competition.

OK hang on, what about , in his prime, Mike Tyson?

He would have eaten everyone's babies, and ripped off ears with his teeth. In all seriousness though i reckon he would have done pretty good.. His striking would obviously be world class, but he'd need to do some work on his kicks and his wrestling.

All in all, an interesting proposition though

P.S He was/is a total brawler so UFC might have been perfect for him i duno
