Most likely will be chopping in the next day or two that should make her about 63 days. Smell came on very strong in the end of flower. Nugs look to be very Rocky Balboa on this plant. She was fun and very easy to maintain in Top Fed Hydro with FNB. Next run will hit her with some booster's and additives to see if there is any difference in the final product. So the book is closed on this run for me.

mix of forum and animal, some of the smallest tops ive ever grown....something about the cold night temps + slammed lights stopped their swelling. i test fed a few with increased PPMs and barely noticed any difference, maybe she likes less food..

Platinum GSC (L), Forum GSC (R), platinum had almost zero stretch, much fatter colas at least 2x the size of forum, but forum is better IMO because its frostier and has a more candy smell, the platinum nugs seem to degrade in quality lower in the nugs, more larfy and green whereas forum will have some gems beneath the top colas.

What's the deal with that platinum? Is it the same cut miscbrah is running? Looks pretty fire from what I can see.

Yo prop....I have a table doing the same thing

Yo prop....I have a table doing the same thing

It's like they just stalled for a week or 10 days....mine look a ton better the last few days, but the yield is going to be lower....for the life I can not figure why they did that......I was thinking it was the coco I was using.....I found out my hanna meter was out of calibration...and my ppm was about 1/2 of what I usually run....corrected that and they have taken off.....but those 2 weeks will kill the overall yield.

Another thing.....when using brand new coco.....your EC & or PPM need to be right on.....I find when re-using my coco the plants really like it......it seems there is a fudge factor built in....Really about the 3rd time through on the coco seems to be the sweet spot.....it's almost auto pilot.....I reuse 4 times then start new again.

I switched from B'cuz to Black gold coco.....mainly because I can get the black gold for about 10 bucks a bag, compared to 21 for B'cuz....but you have to "charge" ( I add glacier rock dust 2 ts per 3 gal pot) the black gold when planting.

As far as the temps.....my plants love those cool temps at night 55-60....and light on temps of 75....I find I get the rock hard, frosty,....frickin awsome....crystal....excellent smells...at these temps.....cut at 63-70 days = dank at its best.

Same thing happening to me, now i know why people were saying its a small yielder.......my problem is that i have put them into too large sized containers, last time they thrived in 3 litre pots but this time i vegged them lot and put them in 15 litre pots and the yield looks terrible, tiny tops that look smaller than the popcorn buds off the last crop.

Guess she takes some figuring out.
Peace

Yikes, man, I am not gonna tell another grower what to do, but damn, I ran the Black Gold coco and had the WORST time ever trying to clear out all the salts. Each time, seperate batches, HORRIBLE lock outs and I couldn't figure out what the eff was going wrong.
I run H&G, or Botanicare coco. Yes they are more expensive, but to not have to deal with very unhappy plants for 2 full weeks is worth the extra cost... for me at least. Black gold was good after re-using it 2nd and 3rd round...

to me the forum is def more photgenic and looks like she has more crystals but in reality when the buds are trimmed its hard to tell them apart (from the ogkb) id def say forum is def better for BHO because of the frost on the sugar leaves.

Forum hates intense light and heat. And not just during flower.... seems like alot of people forget its canopy temperatures that matter not room temperature. During veg I'm noticing if its cooler in the room shell tend to stay shorter and have closer node spacing which once flipped will let the buds fill up and fill out those colas. If its too hot during veg shell stretch more and in turn her node spacing will be farther apart and you won't get those buds to swell and fill out the colas.

I'll always strive to keep my 1000 w lamps atleast 18" from those tops. Seems all my top nugs that get too close to the light and heat always end up super tiny and almost take on a twisted kinda popcorn nug look if that makes sense.

I have a round of forum going right now that got flipped after 5 days veg and these things are almost 2 feet tall now. That strain seriously always surprises me when i see how tall she gets after her stretch. Even with 40 plants of the forum in each 4x4 it still seems ill be lucky to get more than 1.25

I know with the ogkb if you don't want the larf you gotta prune those nodes out. Just Taking off lower branches won't help you much alotta the larf comes from the nodes closest to the main stalk and under the tops. Topping helps if your vegging for longer than 2 weeks but in reality the ogkb is best suited for SOG just like I've said. 40 plants per 4x4 less than a week veg and flip. My homie just pulled down and averaged about 1 per 600 and because he did SOG it was all dank ass tops no larf. LOL i told you if you already got the ogkb then there's no need to run that platinum!

I hear ya PNW

I have checked the EC straight out of the bag on Black Gold....have not had any problems......."YET"....lol.....I bought a whole pallet....so I gotta use it up......after that it is back to B'cuz.....if you reuse it 4 times...the costs are pretty reasonable.:tiphat:
