I met the school teacher and heard his story first hand.. seemed pretty convincing.. he said 1978..

perhaps the community seed thing is also true, that they started 5 years before that, like 1973??

who knows..

okanagan greenhouse i think she would do ok? I tend to run 3 or 4 applications of serenade while the plants are young and have yet to really have a problem with mold and pm. Only on a couple timewarps that ran a bit late into the rainy season

pole kitty would be great in the okanagan, in a greenhouse. When she starts flowering she really puts on the stretch, makes real dense nugs lots of them. And is some mighty fine outdoor if you can get it in a good season on this coast. The young feller from texada who ran and found the pole cat died at the age of 20 i think. Went to sleep and never woke up, huge tragedy. A kid who was becoming a man and a solid grower! If you ever get a chance to grow pole cat just remember it comes from a kid who lived the life and walked the walk and loved the plant and was loved by his friends and family. peace

island sweet skunk

the elongated pheno (orange) may be one of my faves

the stockier, pink haired one is good too, but doesnt touch the donkey dick in yield and quality

Grow some September 20th finishers. That is the main thing to look for. If it is too humid stay away from Afghani related strains as they are most prone to mold. Also throw some autos for a nice bumper crop. Some 3 month autos are really nice to get a bumper crop in August that looks like a photoperiodic strain it is so big.

I think to do a truly awesome outdoor grow in natural sun in canada one must light dep. Get them flowering in the the mid summer with big sun finishing. Then most any varietals are possible, for the most part. In a few weeks folks can start vegging there timewarps outside lots of rootspace and they will not flower like the seaweed{cweed} if it is started mid may without light length via bulb.

I have always wanted a green house, set up so it can be blacked out to simulate the 12 hour light/dark regime, just imagine flowering with the power of July and August sun light and harvesting in early September. If this type of greenhouse was available and reasonably priced, more growers would grow outside during the summer months.

If anyone knows where to get plans for such a GH...Please post the info(Thx in advance). I would love to grow a few 1 lb(plus) plants this summer. Not to mention how great the pictures would look in the photo album...:dance013:

Peace...B

I love these types of threads, I love talking strains period! Thanks for the info everyone.
My absolute best outdoor strains would be Blueberry for taste and smoking enjoyment, and Chemo for all out stone and potency. My Early Wonder Skunk x Hashplant and Friesland clones win for best growing for our dirty wet environment.

Anything G13 or Durban Poison should be great. BlueDream always seems to yield fat outdoors also.

Pro curtain systems run from $2-$3/sqft give or take depending on options.

Ghetto tek systems are cheaper but a pain in da butt.
