ihave heard that skunk by peak is done by mid october and its killer.

MJ told me early-mid is the window. It is good smoke, I have grown it indoors. I'm going to try my cutting outside. Only had 2 females, both were good. I can imagine there are probably better to be found too. Lovely sativa buzz.

i do pretty well with gear from unleashdagreen..
that being said,i grew 2 grapehashplant/critical mass and both didnt finish till mid october.the description said late september...i hate when breeders are not honest with finishing times,or when they put out untested beans and give a harvest date when the breeder really doesnt know...its frustrating sometimes when you need plants in at a certain date...

Might have been a few degrees lower latitude (bred for). They have a bunch of strains there bred for around 45 degrees latitude, which TT wouldn't do so well in for example (more like an auto).

Some of the seed banks do their breeding around the 42-45 degree mark over there I believe.

Anyone tried C99 outdoors here (here being the 49th on the west side of the rockies)? I know it's a bit mold prone, but does it finish quickly?

I grew a c-99 cut from NB that finishes outdoors there, grew it at 49N on the island and did not finish until mid-oct.. a bit late, mold resistance was not bad, pm resistance not the best but started flowering a bit late anyways to get the primo sun so not really the best at that location.. I ended up pollinating one with an early mold resistant line (auto-warp f3) so should be some interesting stuff in there for future selections, we'll see..

And here is the single cola pheno, less earthy, more lemony and extreme resin production.

was just remembering some of those DAS made a single column plant like a long single cola 5 feet tall, a semi auto pheno.. 2 of those plants of that pheno were the ones that got pollinated with PHS to make the TAS, was the pheno that was most like the DAS mom.. your pic there is actually pretty similar to how the DAS mom looked..

timewarp is a cutting only so there are only hybrids available in seed form, no pure timewarp seeds..

I have a question for those who know about timewarp.
How old is the cutting? Are its genetics known? (The name texada timewarp makes me think mostly Mexican? )
Whens it done and how does it yield?

Is it not so available, or what? It sounds like one of the few good outdoor strains that does well and puts out good weed. Why isnt it more common?

Its named after Texada island off the west cost of bc. I've never grown it so I don't know the lineage. sorry.

more common ? most commercial outdoor strains in BC are timewarp derivitives. its genetics comes from birdseed circa early 80's ;)

nobody remembers what the genetics were.. 1978 is a long time ago, and rumour has some of the players liked the booze so.. another story I heard was that it came from seed from oregon, not really that helpful either.. lots of birdseed came from china, so it could be a vintage chinese strain.. who really knows?

I've heard of pounder warps under ideal conditions but most will yield in the 1/4-1/2 lb range full sun full season lots of root space, finishing by oct 10 give or take..

back in early 90's, mr.timewarp was claiming 2 lbs per with his perameters ( 4x4x4 pit )and fert mix... back then warp was really bomb

I could see that if you had a lot of veg time.You can push the timewarp with ferts and it will grow grow grow, but like all things, too get it to finish properly and flushed is another thing.. 78,79 it showed up on the island.It was the first time that they had bud, that was not unfinished sativa buds{leafs}
The genetics. Well from what i understand it is a mishmash{from humbolt couple different """" river}} of a lot of different things from back in the day{world wide}. I recently took a couple to 12 weeks flower{original cutt} and it was still looking like it could go longer.The son of the timewarps guy, lived beside me for awhile.And still does off and on.She is strong herb.Takes a bit of a green thumb to see her better qualities. But hardy etc and easy enough to grow if you have full sun light. Anyways it shines in crosses and likes to pass her outdoor qualities forward.She likes to flower when she gets rootbound... great weed will keep the cutt around for life.....ps she still revegges real fast all these years later..puff puff pass timewarp. peace

almost forgot my favorite part of the timewarps story, none of the growers had power, so one of the lads grabbed part harvested plant and made cuttings at his parents house down the way{cuttings was a newish thing to these folks at the time}, and the clone has gone on from then, so from what i have heard it took about 5 years of picking and mixing the fastest finishers, and then on the 5th year the magic that timewarp happened. I think too part of the thing of folks saying it was done the first part of sept, was that they didnt have much experience with growing things that finished, so any buds more then there usually pile of leaves and tops was olalala.....

as well the seed production part was a community affair lots of folks on the island where growing what became timewarp so the selection was actually quite good. They would get together at harvest and see who go the best etc.{bet it still goes on}

I heard from 'the school teacher' they dug up the plant and kept alive under fluoros over the winter while they learned to root cuttings..
