Double Afghan Slam, grew it back in 05 and never got buds that tasty or potent again,
and it was a bright psychadelic effect with a warm indica body stone, tasted smooth earthy hash and pine.

Yeah, they're still out there in crosses, a strain called "night hail ultra" which is TAS x GG.
I have some DAS/Pakistan x Congo double gold I expect to be very strong and vigorous plants.

I'm gathering afghan slam derivative lines as we speak.. going to try and recreate as close as possible as I made the original DAS and TAS seeds (with Reef, he provided the seeds and extremely valuable intel, I did the selections and made the physical seeds)

the DAS was virtually moldproof in most phenos and finished late aug-early sept.. wish I still had that one, was just great, smelled nice and looked like indoor, rock hard buds in most phenos and super easy to trim and grow, and did fine in low light spots.. the perfect strain for newbs..

i do pretty well with gear from unleashdagreen..
that being said,i grew 2 grapehashplant/critical mass and both didnt finish till mid october.the description said late september...i hate when breeders are not honest with finishing times,or when they put out untested beans and give a harvest date when the breeder really doesnt know...its frustrating sometimes when you need plants in at a certain date...

It can be hard to guess what the finishing times will be for all latitudes and altitudes. That being said most of the companies lie for marketing purposes. Peace GS

Awesome, do you still have access to any of the ibl affies that went into TAS?
With DAS I had a few pheno's one was a single cola plant that was the an all round great plant, one branchy pheno which yeilded big and had red stems and red/green buds, this was the best tasting ever, would make other dank indica's taste like hay.
For me they finished late sept, I also got one very tall pheno which went into Oct and a less interesting smoke.

Here are some pics of the red branchy pheno:

I grew them in pots at 50 degrees N with irrigation/fertigation, so that might explain the earlier finish.. in the ground at higher lats def. going to slow them down..

I do have access to the father line of the das, and the PHS.. the momma of das was pretty atypical for it's line and the line is pretty rare now so doubtful I will find it again, but hope to running some auto lhotse and nhu f2s and/or f3s so there should be something in there similar..

thanks for sharing, looking forward to running your seeds!

And here is the single cola pheno, less earthy, more lemony and extreme resin production.

Here some Das males, they are the 2 dark green ones in the center, excellent structure and vigour. At the front is Burmese Pure females.

X18 did well, I know orange bud isn't much but that did okay too......I have a lot of room to improve but for me 4' plants are a good start.

Anyone tried C99 outdoors here (here being the 49th on the west side of the rockies)? I know it's a bit mold prone, but does it finish quickly?

The absolutely best, bar none, pure fire i have EVER grown outside was a scraggly-ass
Highland Oaxacan. It was as good as anything i had ever smoked in Vietnam

Tasted and smelled like a pine tree leaking sap...what a terpin profile!

After the first dry hit i took, i told my little brother that this stuff was gonna be potent, and was it ever!

After about 3-4 hits my brother turned white and threw up in my car, LOL...

Decades later and i still haven't found anything like it.
