Yes I am very proud of Northern Dreams (although too potent for myself) because it has done so much to help so many with pain relief issues. The PM's and emails I get from all over the world in regards to what it has done to help people really touches me and is what keeps me searching out new genetics.

si3ns3 that looks great!! To be clear I am NOT trying to say that because it's a poly that you can't find gold in there. Obviously it's a gamble with any seeds, but the more you pop the more chance you have of finding something great. From my experience the majority of the S1s I've seen have been aesthetically pleasing. Very crystalized and most have purple tones on the leaves and buds. BUT my main beef is the smell and flavor, and a completely differed effect. But once again you can find great things in these genes, although the likelihood of them resembling the cut is going to be a hard find. So that's where I get vexed because people take these seeds and call it gsc, which it's not, this waters down the name plain and simple. People take mediocre batches and pass them off as real, which then makes a person stray from that strain in the future. Someone very very close to me has MS and gscookies is what works for him, so that's all he gets now. My batches are usually very sedative, while being quite mental at first, and can easily induced both sleep and massive hunger. The medicinal value of this strain is huge even if the yield isn't.

I hear what you are saying I dont believe you are trolling just stating your opinion and by your grows I believe you are in the know with this strain. We have popped maybe 50 of the found S1's only have maybe 20 left and from what Ive seen in SF it definitely has zero GDP. The OG that is used in the hybrid is definitely dominant . We have found three males but are still unsure if the pollen is usable. I have determined from my test that the purple leaves, stems and elongated nodes are always present l and the stretch is also OG like. I would say closet to the Louie . The thing that is interesting is that the calyx do not resemble either the forum of the platinum. I have yet to find a pheno that has the larger sized calyx.I'am hoping with this new seed run I will find one.

Remember when units went for $42+ (and that was the low end, sometimes...I remember hearing stupid crazy OG numbers, like people's actual mouths, like $5k+) all day long, as long as it was top top top quality.
Those days could easily return for some of you with the proper cookies...
Point being, the masses being crazy about the plant is justified.
When I came across it, I went from smoking mostly og's and diesels, pretty much right to pure cookies and cookies hash with something og to give me a different profile and let my tolerance calm down for a day, or two, TOPS.

I'm just trying to figure out what the problem is here?? RL said he was gifted the cut by L-O-U, with the cut he was also gifted beans that L-O-U had been working.... He grew out plants, found a male in them, and then BX'd to the cut..... Where is the problem?? UP, if RL's GSC isn't for you, that's fine because you didn't buy any obviously, you have no worries... He never "cashed in on a name", he sold the packs for $46.71, and said from day one that there are plants in his garden he likes better than the GSC, seems very open and up front to me where is the conspiracy?? And HOW DARE YOU throw his "lows", in his face... RL happens to be a friend of mine, he is one of the most upfront and honest people I have encountered, so what ever you accusations may be, leave all that shit out of it... If you don't want his GSC... don't buy em, OH wait he has no plans on dropping them again, and barely dropped them anyway (because the GSC doesn't take pollen well) way to cash in RL!!! LOL Unreal man, i can't believe some people.. Skarecrow said his stem rum smells "minty" from my understanding there are 2 cuts(maybe more?) floating around, i've heard of a purple GSC, and the thin mint cut, UP ur cut looks like the purple one I've seen people post, perhaps RL has the thin mint cut(would make sense considering the progeny smells of mint on stem rub) just my 2 cents..... Seriously you can get the cut on craigslist even, it is not being held tightly anymore... everyone has cookies it will be played out like blue dream in a little bit. Except no one will keep growing it because the yield is not comparable to BD.

L-O-U is the creator of G.S. Cookies. Many will say that it is a recording artist named Berner. And that is how legends get twisted. L-O-U doesn't mind though.

people are saying you are bitter and butt hurt over it because that's how you are making it appear, you came into the thread looking for a confrontation.... you have questioned RL's integrity from your first post and that is just unfair... just as it is unnecessary for you to bring anything he's going through personally into the picture... that's just wrong... and look at the hypocrisy of your own posts as well... how is RL selling this as anything other than what it is, in your last post you point out that even RL says the lineage of the male is unknown... he never claimed to know, nor did he try to hide the fact that he did not.... and as I said from what I understand there are at least 2 cuts that float around.. I get where youre coming from as far as limited access goes, but that doesnt take away the fact that whatever mystery male was used will immediately add variance into the line. That would make it completely different from the cut it was crossed to. Gsc is a poly hybrid already and to add an unknow mix of genes via male plant, you just can not replicate the clone, plain and simple.
I dont mean to attack RLs character, as Im sure he may have good intentions, but if you want to call yourself a breeder you cant be mad when others call you out on things that are pertinant to your supposed area of expertise.
