Yeah man, I don't know wtf is going on. It looks like any bug that was in the coco is dead, and I caught a flier last night....it was just a fungus gnat. I really only have 2 fucked up looking plants now, everything else that was looking unhealthy did a complete 180 after the azamax. I've taken to calling the 2 messed up looking plants problem child and problem child 2. One is a sour bubble and one is a fire og bx. I am thinking now the damage might just have been fungus gnats and over watering (which I've never ever had a problem with in coco before). That's my best guess. Really everything is looking good and I have nematodes and botanigard doing their thing so I'm not too worried about it. Just waiting to pop the new seeds until I know for sure everything is gone even the gnats because they will f**** up some seedlings.

I ran that sssdh fems by rez...great to smoke, and good structure, but a little picky. I flowered my mom in a seperate room before I moved under one 400w hps, and pulled over 6 zips.

I'm running WiFi now, not sure of the breeder, a buddy gave me some cuts, she loves to grow, and eat... Mine stretched like hell, and don't look like they're gonna quite be worth the space and food. My .02.

Good luck with the gnats, Im fighting the little bastards with azamax too. Almost had em and ran out, and of course another hatch

Well if the wifi is from raskal you must've gotten a bad cut. There are some pretty heavy yielding super dank phenos to be had. I have one pheno of fire og bx that is like you said, super stretchy and likes to eat. Probably not going to be my keeper, but who knows, could be super dank. I care about flavor #1 above anything else. Those flavors that coat your mouth and make you want to chew...stick in your mouth for 10 mins after a bowl. Those are my keepers personally.

Yeah man, with bugs you have to time the pesticide with their reproductive cycle or else you'll never get rid of them. I've had gnats before and they were pretty easy to get rid of. Just relieved it's not RA.

aphids are the devil, pyrethrum, and imid were the two most effective while remaining relatively safe chemical wise... other really toxic systemics should be kept to moms only imo....

yeah I've got a pyrethrum automatic spray dispenser somewhere around here. I am using the nematodes and botanigard though, neither of those are systemic nor dangerous at all. No effect on the nugs. Pretty sure I don't have aphids now, but the botanigard/nematode combo is supposed to be very good at controlling them. Knock them down with imid and send the troops in to seek and destroy seems like the way to go with aphids.

ive always had botanigard in my reserves, you can use pyrethrum in a dilute root drench and as a spray on the media surface.

gnatrol is a better substitute for mosquito dunks if, by chance, you use them...

Damn bro, I don't know how I missed this thread.. Why didn't you shoot me a link....? everything is looking good though no doubt... You made a great choice going with wifi, and sssdh... I did those two strains the grow before last ( still got pics of them up in "D3cryption's botnet"............. Boy, boy, boy.... them wifi's are gonna drive you crazy, they all are keepers imho.......... I still have people asking me about white fire..... That sssdh is good, but I ran the s1's... I had 1 sour pheno, and 1 haze pheno...

Suck to hear about the RA's ... seems like alot of people got hit with them at the same time.... I also had RA , and Imid fixed my problem.... but they did stunt the grow for about 2 weeks........ plants just really bounced back.......

Oh yeah... I see you been hanging around in vert-ville.... I have a feeling bobble, megayield, marlo, dhf, and some others gonna conVERT you...... Reading them guys thread sure got me on the bandwagon, and I must say I like...

yeah I am going vert after I get some moms selected. I have taken my querkle x cdsd keeper(sd dom with a touch of grape) to poker a few times and have had quite a few people tell me it is the best thing they have ever smoked. She is also a heavy yielder, but is about to have some serious competition. These are heavy smokers, but not in an area where everyone has OG and SD etc. More pics tomorrow. My goal is to keep 5 moms out of all of the 9 or so I've popped recently, so it's kind of going to be a battle royale until the smoke clears.

I honestly really don't think I had RA, probably just an over reaction on my part. Better to overreact on those things than underestimate them though from what I've seen.

Any idea where to purchase sour bubble non-fem seeds? Or is it even possible? I went to a site run by bog off of seedbotique , and they had a sour bobble but not a sour bubble..

Sneaky- Thanks. Check seedbay. I know PK put some sourbubble f2s up there and there may or may not be sour bubble straight from BOG. I have never seen femed sour bubble fwiw. Yes PK's sour bubble grow is an awesome thread.

D3cryption- I'm thinking either coco donuts or I might make a spiraly kind of nft sog-coliseum system. I could run that just in net pots or with very little rockwool so it would save me medium cost and hassle. Still thinking about it. I've used just about every kind of hydro system out there except rdwc, so I think I could handle the changeover pretty well, now is just not a good time for me to design and build a system due to other stuff I have going on. I am really only spending an hour and a half max in my garden per week these days. Sad, but better than not growing at all.

I made some crosses a couple days ago and it looks like the pollen took. I should have:
Sour bubble f2
Oger99 f2
GDP f2
sour bubble x GDP
GDP x Sour Bubble
GDP x fire og bx
Oger99 x fire og bx
Oger99 x GDP
Oger99 x sour bubble

I also kept 2 fire leaning (looking) males of the fire og bx to make fire og bx f2 and wifi x fire og bx in the future.

I got some sour d ibl f2 that I'm going to start in the next week or so.

8 of the OX and 9 of the lavender clone x jazz berry jam are up and running, and the ssdh and wifi all popped, but took 2 days longer than the ox and lav x jbj. There are only a couple of sssdh and wifi that have broken coco so far.

I started the Sour D ibl f2 seeds yesterday, but today I found a hermie fire og bx. Not too disappointed because it was the stretchiest lowest yield looking plant. Misted everything with water before and after removing the plant and chopping it. I hope it didn't spread too much pollen. Gotta love the mother hunt. They were mostly lower nanners, but there were quite a few. I will run one clone of it next run, and if it gets nanners again I'll toss the mother.

after spraying the hermi plant with water, cover the plant with a 55gln clear trashbag liner and then move the plant. Sometimes the air movement from the water displacing the air around the pollin sacks from the sprayer, can actually push the fine pollin dust into the room before the water has a chance to hit it and deactivate it as well. With what you did Im sure its all good and you may find a bean here or there that could be an awesome cross by accident.

I just put my 3 Sour Diesel bag seeds that Im almost positive got hit with BCBD Purps hermi pollin into flower. 3/3 females. It has that Purps smell on the stem rub too. I had 1 Purps awhile back get a nanner I didnt see when the original SD bagseed was in there.
So I got 3 females of a double SD bagseed plant in flower now. LOL
You never know what a hermi cross can bring out in the genepool. Could end up with a Purple Diesel that kicks ass.
I use DutchMaster Reverse / Saturator to combat any hermi issues with bagseed trials.

I've seen a couple seeds that have formed, but I just picked them all out. Hopefully it didn't mix in to the crosses that I made. I kept "fathers" of all my males so it shouldn't be a big deal if I have to make more next run anyway. I don't want to keep anything that is going to herm like that anyway. I have like 4 or 5 other fire og bx phenos, and none of them hermed, so I just tossed the one. Sucks, but it is what it is, you know.

Good idea on the bag thing. I will use that if it happens again. I have the sd ibl f2 coming up so it may very well.

In my first run of SSSDH all 3 females grew a couple ballsacks in the "pre-flower" area through transition.
I thought they were all full blown hermis so I cut 1 down. I picked off the few ballsacks on the other two before they opened, and they never grew another nanner or ballsack the entire grow. I threw away the 3rd one for nothing. I learned a hard lesson there, since this was the first time dealing with genetics leaning towards "being for expert growers".

Fire Og sounds wicked good brother. Im onboard for the long haul. You have a professional touch to your posts.

Yeah, what I meant was I threw out the one that had the nanners on it(I started just picking them off, then I realized there were more unopened ones than I initially thought and I might miss some, so I just cut it). I still have the clone I took of the plant before it went in to flower. All that I found were the preflower type nanners and they were mostly on the bottom half of the plant, which is why I kept the "mom" to run again next round. I am pretty much expecting this same thing to happen with the sd ibl and sssdh.

fwiw I kept the top bud from each of the 4 branches, and they are in a cabinet in a pretty big room separate from the grow area. The whole room absolutely reeks of kushy skunk from 4 pretty small 30 day buds.
