Hey, Its kinda hard to tell but how do you train the plants into the screens? I have a donut setup without screens right now and might go with screens for the next round.

Curious to know what you do with the branches that face the light and the ones that are in the dark. Obviously the lateral branches would be easy to train into the cage but I'm curious if you tie the branches that face the light back into the screen? and what about the branches in the dark, tied into the screen or left alone or pruned right off?

Thanks man

the hole plant is tied flat to the screen.the plants on the inside of screen. I will cut back suckers after stretch is over. Because of the big pots I can go in under screen and get in the inside to train

Lol, well that is a new twist on the donuts...
I prefer screens behind the plants as well. I have a mock up of plants behind the screen, and I don't like it so far. Mathematically, it reduces your canopy and blocks out what would be bud sites.
I didn't see the sulfur burning question answered, so I will do my best, having to run sulfur myself now...
You can get a burner and sulfur for around $100, but you may need one for each donut. The instructions are pretty simple, and there are some good You Tube videos on it. Basically shut your extraction fans off while its burning, let it go 2-4 hours, twice a week. You do not want to burn sulfur once flower set commences as it will coat your buds with rotten eggs... The science behind it is pretty basic. The sulfur reduces the PH of the plant leaves to the point where PM can not grow.
Good luck with this one, could be epic!
Edit: I plan on running sulfur up to week 1 in flower, and use Eagle 20 at that point as well. The Eagle 20 stays systemic for 30-45 days, but you can burn the fuck out of your plants. I still have some plants that have not fully recovered after 30 days, I went overboard, but no PM in my veg/mother room still...

I have ran sulfur 5 or 6 years ago and it worked but it did affect the taste a bit for me.
I let a friend borrow it a couple years ago and havent asked for it back.

At my flip flop thread I used eagle 20 once in veg and dropped 2k on a drieaz and havent seen pm since. I used 1 ml per gal. and lightly sprayed the plants, I didn't even cover the whole plant because the stuff is systemic. The plants showed no signs of burn or stress. The pm all disappeared in a week.

At another place I am using compost teas, the idea behind this is brewing large populations of bacterias and applying the tea as a foliar spray. Bacteria eats fungus and helps protect the plants. If you have enough beneficial bacterias on your plants the pm will not be able to grow. My friend has been doing this in his garden so I know it works. It takes a little longer and its more work but the plants are responding great. I am spraying every other day. If the plants were a bit smaller I would dunk them. I feel that this is the safest and most honest way to battle pm, dried dead bacteria are alot safer to smoke than fungicides like eagle 20w It is alot more work though. Compost teas are great for soil also so its an investment you would benefit from no doubt.
