Well after 9 days under 24/0 lighting, two of the flowering clones have rooted in rock wool and been put into soil. They are losing their dark color faster than the vegging clones I took on the same day. Here's a side by side comparison:


I did some LST'ing on my 3 oldest clones to pass some time:

Nice. Whats highest ambient temps of garage? Whats temp of grow area. My only choice for upcoming grow at new spot is a detached garage or attic :/ im in ny area though

It will be too hot this summer to grow in my garage but during the winter months it is no problem. It is always between 65 and 75 in the tent and anywhere from 35 to 60 in the garage. I use a small heater during lights off that clicks on at 65.

The veg cabinet is always almost exactly 70 degrees. Again, though- I will have to shut it down over the summer.

I think it will be nice to shut down for a third of the year and take it outside. Inside the house would work but the Wifey won't allow it

Dnt kno what the outside temps r like there in summer..im planning on running my tent..prob in garage..which is along side a breezeway..and entire house in shade covered bu canopy of big oaks..only shutting down for dec jan feb and march..planning on growin all other months straight..with a sep veg tent harvesting every month or so. Planning on running 2 112 cfm axial fans out top of tent t and a 6" s and p td silent fan exhausting tent outside garage. Garage is cooler as far as garages go but im kinda goin in blind. Im also plainning on running flower tent with lights on overnite and keeping them off during day time hours. Its gotta b stealth so putting an AC unit in garage would not b practical. Sux..my ONLY choices here r garage or attic..using tents :/

Had a great few days down in So Cal staying at a hotel on the beach. Had plans to attend the Cannabis Cup there buy they changed the venue at the last second- to San Bernadino! It was way too far of a drive to drag Mrs Bandito there. So, I didn't get to meet BOG and scoop up some good deals on gear. Oh well.

It's day 48 of 12/12 now and SB is supposed to flower in 49-55 days. I only have one that's almost ready, and it's the runt. Couple more days:



The other ones will probably go another 2 weeks:

Thanks Vin and Rocketman. Although I am a novice grower, I have been buying and smoking top shelf Cali weed for many years. Sour Bubble is something special. The yield isn't off the charts, but I don't care one bit. That sweet and sour bubblegum smell makes me drool! Hope you get a good cut soon Rocketman- the vegging takes a bit. I popped my first SB bean six months ago and am finally about to harvest.

I have lots of clones and seedlings at various stages now and am set up for a perpetual grow. Ahhh fresh Sour Bubble every 2 weeks. Life is sofa king good right now!

you will be prepared to rock the OD this year with all those clones, you could have a
very productive light dep with a 50 day strain like that. maybe 3 OD harvests in a row in one season?

I dunno Chunky- I think I will be too busy this year to do any light dep. getting married in May, lots of work trips. etc. Maybe I could pull a late harvest off if I waited until after the wedding madness. I have a strange hunch that my garden will not be a priority in this household any time soon

Hey, speaking of my garden, today is day 50 of flowering, and it's looking pretty goddamned green and healthy for plants that are in their recommended window for harvesting. The runt is the only one that looks close to done. I didn't get home until after the HPS switched on, so sorry for the crappy pic:


Been examining the trichomes but I have a crappy loupe that just doesn't do the job- the led light is weak and the magnification level sucks. I ordered a much better loupe online yesterday, along with some miscellaneous goodies. That will arrive on Monday and hopefully will shed some additional light (literally) on those trichs. I think I will be safe until then- nothing is even yellow yet! :headbang:

Ahh patience is a virtue. My dwindling stash from last summer has mostly crumbled into shake and all I can smell when I go out there is skunky bubblegum dankness that I cannot partake of.



Yet hope springs eternal in other nooks of my garage. Inspired by Dr. Fever's training techniques, I have been pinching and LST'ing a few clones like crazy, along with another few plants from seed which will probably not get too much training:



And finally, an update on the 2 flowering clones I am trying to reveg- not too much going in but they live!

actually I'd prolly just jump in the beater and go hit up some dispensaries looking for them cookies!

Hello, I was reading your thread, as far as the run-off problems go, have you ever tried sponging up the excess water after a watering? I would think a mold problem potentially forming under your tent would be really bad.

Hah Chunky I was a bit generous and gave away too much of my outdoor goodies- apparently I smoke more than I had estimated as well. I don't mind the shaky remnants much and will probably pick up some flowers at the dispensary next time I am in the neighborhood. I will be more judicious with my gifting next time around . At the time it felt like I would never run out but I have away at least a half pound.

Yeah OD I use old towels to soak up any excess water but really I just try to water more often these days and avoid runoff for the most part. I will do a full tear down and bleaching after this run though.

insurance policy stash saved up and by then you will probably be ready to take a break from the madness. it's not really that mad i guess in your state but the stress of gardening non stop for the past 10 months has me ready to take some time off.

sucks your gardening is gonna fall to the side, my girl is always helping me in our garden, i had some BOG lifesaver and it was a 44-50 day strain and i ran them to 60 and only had 5% amber trics. im waitin on my SB clone from a buddy, i just put my sourboggle into flower cant wait to see how they do the leaves and stalks are so big i can only hope for some giant budz.

Nice Rocketman- I have heard a lot of folks say that they've run BOG's strains to 60 days without any issues. I certainly haven't seen any amber trichs and it's day 55! You are very lucky to have a supportive partner. Honestly- I just smoke way too much, and that's the only reason my fiancé isn't supportive. I have a great job I have worked at for 8 years and I take care of my responsibilities but I am usually pretty baked in the evening and not the most exciting company The mission moving forward is to moderate my usage a bit more. She wasn't happy yesterday because....

I finally got a proper veg tent yesterday, along with a 400 watt MH light, ballast, and batwing reflector! Scored them on Craigslist- $160 for everything. This extra room will allow me to expand my strain selection a bit more.



So addicted.
