What are the benefits of using algen extract? I got some samples but havnt used them yet.Heard itll burn ur plants with N if ur not careful.

I only run .5-1 ml gallon, so for me, its the same. It also makes a great foliar.

I use the full H&G line with stellar results. (well, except I dropped Roots Excel for another product that's not welcome for me to mention here). Switched to them from AN - so for me, it's considerably cheaper :)

I agree however, with the statement this whole business is shrouded in products without explanation - the paper is some of the docs I got from H&G when first trying to get a profile on them. I'm not trying to sell their products, just sharing the info I've received.

It lists what the Kelp contains, and you can research the benefits of those compounds in plants. I know I did back when I received the info and was considering dropping a couple of products, I know I decided to keep it for it's benefits, but it was quite some time ago and my memory isn't what it used to be.

Cheers...

your chart states h&g algn is 110 a litre and bioweed is 17.50 a quart, same as a litre, using 2 ml per gallon that makes h&g cost .22 cents and bio weed 0.035 ,much cheaper like i said, unless im really fuckin high and im missing something here....

You know what. I actually forgot to add the algaen extract this past 10 feeding. I knew something wasn't right. I remember grabbing like 5-6 bottles thru out mixing and I'm like I'm missing something. Oh well. Haven't had an issue but truthfully maybe it's better off. Cause when I did use it. Plants got super green and stayed that way throught late flowering so maybe. It was just too much N. who knows ill give it a go without it. And see if that changes anything. Maybe next Veg mix ill drop a little in there.

So. What's the verdict on Shooting Powder. Who here really really swears by it. I haven't used it. Cause I'm scared of 1. never ending flowering. 2. foxtails.
Maybe I'm looking into it to much. But. I just got a bunch of samples of some cool stuff. Like bloombastic , MOAB and some Aptus nutrients samples as well. Ugh so many products. I want to use them ALL. Muhhhaha. Just gotta pace myself and try them on different runs or different plants and see what's up.

But I think ill sub the SP for the MOAB. Heard that's a good idea. Not saying that's for everyone. But maybe for me that could be the way to go. I'm def dying to try the shooting powder though I'm not gonna lie

IMHO...shooting powder is overpriced. MOAB or even koolbloom powder can be sub'd for WAY cheaper. The other nutes are a bit pricey....but high quality...and work well.

has anybody tried the new nitrogen 27 from h&g just got some, and like i have said earlier h&g does lack nitrogen in veg,my girls always asked for more,so gonna try this additive instead of adding calcium nitrate, ill post my findings over the next few weeks

I like SP, but MOAB is way cheaper and does pretty good. I have switched to Aptus this next time.

Nitrogen boost works great! They should have made it all along

its not expensive. plus shooting powder aparently have hormones in too.. not sure how true it is but its good shit eitherway

Sorry, but SP is expensive compared to the others.

I used N boost at 1-2ml/gal, and it worked fine. I would make that my standard veg.

Yeah. I have so many packets of SP that I will probably not end up using. So if anyone wants some. Feel free to PM me. Cause I don't want it to go to waste. I have like 6 packets of it I got as samples and a ton of Roots excel that I won't be able to use in this lifetime lol. I rather someone else enjoy it like I do and not have to go spend a ton of money on the SP if they just waned to try it out or do a side by side which would benefit us all in this thread you know

So I got bloombastic samples. MOAB samples. Aptus samples(only facilitator and start boost) so I'm gonna try it out.

I really do like the Bloombatic and MOAB I must say. Madfarmer makes some good shit. They hooked me up with a bunch of stuff. So. I made my mind up I think about using the MOAB instead of Shooting Powder I just feel better and safer using it. I don't want to end up with foxtails and a never ending flowering period. I know shooting powder is great stuff too so def not knocking it in any way. I'm a big fan of H&G so def not knocking it. Just my preference I guess at this time. Although I really do want to do a run with one day when I feel comfortable enough with a specific strain.

what is the difference, and understanding the n-p-k ratios that are using the decimals like on my H_G newer bottles. Vs the older no decimal bottles. its probably simple ,just not getting it yet. explanations anyone.
