No - thanks to W89 for sharing the information on a rock dust product he's using from Scotland. I found that document at the company's parent web site: www.binnsoilnutrients.com which has good information, links, studies, etc.

So again - thank you, W89. I've sent that file to several people and each and every friend has found it helpful to explain the reasons why you would want to use rock dusts in your gardens.

Good stuff indeed!

yeah cootz that document really explains things in an easy to understand way, some of these documents I find it hard to understand some of the things they are explaining, but I actually did get this one :)

I'm glad I got a good product, has a mix of different dusts which all serve there uses, I have been using it in the worm bin too. as those worm castings I gathered from outside contain lots of grit, mostly sand but a large percent is rock dust so it goes to show how much they need to process there food, as it's the dusts that grind the food if im not mistaken, I do add quite a bit of egg shell ground up too and the rock dust and a little oyster shell grit.

What do you think of my little garden then? getting there day 14 flower tomorrow ;)

Where did you get the crab shells from?Have been looking for ages but cant seem to find any over here.
Also didn't see humic acid on your list,i you want a cheap source for it try viresco.co.uk but dont use the on-line shop, just ring them. They sell a kg of 70% for just over £11.

Hi jaded1 thanks for he nice comment, On the crab shell front I was having same problem as you, so I google crab shells and there was a website selling 10 red crab shells for about 7 quid I ordered them but the fucker never sent them to me.. So I went to Tescos and bought 2 of the biggest crabs I could get, smashed the shell off rinsed it put it in the over to dry on low heat and smashed it up with a hammer into small bits... stinky, messy job but I wanted crab shell so had to get it some how.

HUMIC ACID This s the only real source of proper humic acid you will fin in Europe http://www.health-solution.eu/index.php/en-AU/company-en it's what everyone on here uses it''s quite expensive but you only use like 1/4 tsp per gal or something like that I havent bought it yet.. Its very concentrated stuff and you should never add more than they say, wou will mess the plants up big time this is not your stardard leonardite crap

Thanks! :)

so... you grow in the wardrobe, and you have soil under your bed, a worm bin in the corner... where the fuck do you keep your clothes at? hahaha! fuck it garden naked brother!!!!
