Any Aussies Use A Grow Tent?

Gday fellas, I'm seriously considering getting a grow tent but don't know much about them. Any of yas got any experience with them?
1 big enough for a 600 would be good. Any negative things that you could tell me about? Also, am looking at buying online. Any recommendedations as to who are reputable? Haven't bought any grow gear online before so any tips or advice would be very much appreciated.

yeah i do...got a cheapie and it works a treat. that size you are looking at is about twice the size a 600 will effectively cover...get a light rail or better still another light. i need a vented hood in mine to control temps and 2 fans, one for the hood and one for the tent...i use a speed controller to regulate flow and importantly noise...

Hey guys thanks heaps for your input. Yo ozzie, yep picked up another 600 super cheap :) Now what's this vented hood you do speak of? Does the tent come this way? Are these tents able to cater for a 250 mm exhaust fan do ya know or just 6inch exhausts? Ive got both but the bigone is much quieter and uses the same power-go figure. Thought maybe useing one of the 6inchers' for an inlet.

indoor elements is a nice tent, cool tube ports , plenty air vents,

That link looks cool Rumblefish. I see it only has a 152mm hole for the exhaust. Would a 6inch exhaust be enough in winter for 2 x 600's on at night?

Thanks ozzie. That reflector looks a beauty! Wish i had have seen them. Was actually thinking about my adjust a shade. Could this work?- If i was to cut a whole in the shade and attatch a 150mm exhaust then duct through top flap in tent. If that worked i was also considering attatching a plate of glass between the bulb and canopy. Thought it would allow heat to pretty much go straight up and maybe let plants be a little closer. Could that work? Just beentossing a couple of ideas around in my head
I like the tent mate. At that price i'd consider prolly getting 2 and if you reckon it works well, well that good nuff for me. Thankyou very much.

ducting through a hole in the top of the shade should help...but i like the fan to push the air past the lamp that way the fan stays cool rather than being heated by the hot air rushing past it by pulling air off the lamp...

the tents compare to the expensive ones as a friend has one that cost twice as much and has less ducting options that mine...

waiting on a camera so i can post a pic of my set up...remember i only veg in mine...all flowering happens in the great outdoors...

i wouldn't be...can't flower for 5 months of the year due to weather, mould, bugs, high winds, rippers...man the list goes on...but on the other hand no height issues, no BIG power bills or space issues....

bloody net still playing up, run a cool tube set up with adjusta wing bolted to it, easy to do works well, kept tent cooler and dropped tube on top of ladies with yo yo's thirsty.
hows ya all doing out there.

Gday mate. Ok so the cool tube you can just mount to shade. Ebay too eh? Whats the yoyo bit mean buddy?I'll have to brush up on my lingo lol

i just purchased a 600watter grow tent kit from ebay and a 8 pot recirculating waterfarm and a truncheon from blue lab and canna nutes etc cant wait to give it a crack
