Whew, those are some beautimus plants, reaching for the sky all healthy looking and such! Id be stoked to be the one caring for those lovely ones;)
The nodes DO look really close, that should help with those space restrictions
Youre doing a super job W89, keep it up!

theres a thinking that gains made from training {pruning;LST;super;etc} are as much a product of time as anything and smooth out in the long run if you just dont bother

its great to keep clone mothers though

Hmmmm....that does sound very possible; more and more Im seeing its better to set the stage with the general soil setup/environment and then get out of the way. If the plant can do its absolute best on its own, why bother it with techniques that can cause stress?
The large majority of my current round received no training/bending pruning and considering its almost at week 6 is flowing along quite well
At any rate Ill need to do some side by side comparison to be able to get a better idea

Usually I super-crop with I have a plant that likes to stretch more than the others, gently bend the stem back and forth to make it soft then snap it over.. pretty much it..

Yeah I get ya mate I did top these in the end, as to be honest I haven't got a lot of room and just wanted to concentrate the light on a couple branches on each plant to fill the canopy... but yeah the time it takes to recover usually out-way the yeild V time to to recover.. I do get ya even tho I cant explain what i mean properly LOL but these have started new growth in 2 days that's really really quick in my book

With so many definitions for these terms its interesting to see how different people do them. So youre saying you fold the stem over to a ninety degree after softening it some? The method I read about termed LST/Super Cropping involved holding the branch between two fingers and rolling it between them until you felt the interior of the branch "pop". The idea was to fragment the interior stem fibers without causing the branch to fold over. Soon after a callus forms as the plant reinforces its structure and supposedly the buds that form on that branch are bigger. Whos to say though, the info might as well have been anecdotal. Comparisons will definitely have to be done.....yet another experiment to run!

Ive done it both your way and the way I mentioned and Ive noticed a quick recovery as well with new growth in a few days from both methods

bend it back ad forth between the thumb and finger un till it snaps the inside walls then bend over 90' just to let the other branches to catch up.. that would be the only reason I do it, but I've seen people do it to thinken up the stems and do it at the base of the plant it supposedly alowes more of flow inside the stem also makes it stonger

At first my reason for using this method was to see if the buds got bigger but I quickly shifted my attention to using it for canopy management, I really didnt spend much time observing the effect it had on size. I wonder if it does increase the flow of juices inside the stem; if it does indeed strengthen the stems and the calluses dont block the flow, then Id say its possible! It makes for a pretty good way to control height but I have found that it takes bending at a 90 like you do to really keep those branches down. I was concerned that bending like that might kink the flow of things but it doesnt seem to be the case but Ill be watching just in case;)
Keep it easy brother!

absolutely

even if it doesnt count as improved yield in the overall; it doesnt hurt either and; who knows a lot of folks claim better yields and could well be right

many of these techniques are what make micro-grows possible

I wish I had known about these methods back when I did my very first grow(in a tiny closet), thats for sure! ah....so many things I would have done differently and the height management sure would have been helpful; those spindly, overcrowded ladies shot straight up to the light and were frying in no time! Im still learning and never want to stop, so much to be grateful for, its the least I can do:)
