My story, my AK47 grow and my OD-plans!

You could be right opiumo, but early strains do not need much veg time and if they flower right away they just might make it. I plant autos outdoors the first week of june just before the last frost of spring. I plant directly in the ground and it takes 6 weeks from that point till the autos begin to flower so that is mid july before they flower and then they finish up by end of august to mid september. If June 22 is indeed to late for early strains then autos are your only hope. I only grow autos outdoors now myself.

Your post makes me wanna dang myself down in the ground.
Am I beeing to optimistic to find a earlyflower that will work up here?

Maybe Im already fighting a lost battle. :(

Well, I wont give up my hopes just yet...

The last thing I would want to do is discourage you femora ! Planting true autoflowers should work well in a better year. Now that you have an indoor space you can grow many types and gradually try a few along with the autoflowers outdoors. As long as you don't have all your eggs in one basket you should have some results to be proud of.
When I started growing in this area I had never seen or heard of anyone growing successfully outdoors here. But I started with early varieties and discovered they could barely finish and understood why they did not finish. Then when lowryder appeared on the market I knew it held important answers. Lowryder was not a bad introduction but the resulting autoflowering explosion has resulted in many more stable varieties. If anything, the biggest problem with autoflowers is sometimes they flower too soon resulting in low yeilds. Early types don't have that problem but if you plant them from seed in natural light in the spring they simply won't flower soon enough to finish reliably in all locales.

Well, I already undug myself of that pessimistic hole and now im on a roll again!

Ill spend 2013 as the year when I explore the jungle of weedstrains, to allow me to be friggin' guru outdoor 2014!
Let there be failures and let there be success! I refuse to be beaten down before trying this out!

I will go some true autos to get some yield anyway... Its so little "extra" work to keep up another plantsite when I already plan this many experiments.

Hopefully I'll find some early that is done 1 sept at my lat, make it a keeper and breed on it/them during the winter.

Aye, there will be a thread!
I haven't decided if I should keep it in realtime, or post a sum-up later.
I dunno if paranoia for getting caught bcuse of a realtime win over the fun in doing one... But there will for sure, one way or the other, come a thread about it.

Well, here is the lastest on the cut from the AF...
She has some strange shit going on for sure! you can see that she is still growing (check the green ironwire for ref.)

Well, it seems like she wont turn into veg anyway... She is under 65w or so CFLs, and I guess Ill keep her there until later... Im thinking about giving her a bigger container. But I dont know if I have anywhere to put her after remake my growchaimber to fit in 2 vert 600.

Here she is! The mofo! :D

Here is the strange semi-revegged-flower-again&still-cut from the AF AK47.

Sure looke like a mofo. Dunno what to think about her.
I'll let her go on and on and on until I need the space, or she is done tossing out more bud-lookalikes... :)
She is still under 24/0.

Ah yeah.. The red line is there to help you see the lenght of the reference-wire that I stuck into the earth earlier. Its easier to see at the other pics.

Heya e500, im sorry to say that I haven't got any pics from early AK47x so I dunno the timestamp... I can look if I made some notes on the growcabin.... but that will probably just be when I planted the seeds, and then the 1st nov they looked like this;

Hang in there, Ill see if I can dig out a date!

Thanks for that info. I guess my outdoor-ladies only will get about 10-12 days of veg in 0.5-liter cups then..

I checked out your pics.. Those leafs seems a bit.. hmm.. sick.

Magnesium deficiency? Potassium deficiency? im thinking about those curled leafs.. Is that even possible in soil this early?

Are you feeding them? If so;
If u have to much potassium, sodium or manganese the nute-uptake on Mg might be affected.
(if thats even is the problem...)

Err.. When looking closer... you seem to have some nuteburn on the leaf-tips.. Flush them and start over with 1/2 nutes.
U don't wanna mess with Autos in veg.. Can be devastating on the yield as I got it from forums (I have no "hands on" experience tho..)

Best of luck!
Stay safe!

I think my problems were wrong ph and to much heat. I watered them with ph 5.5 water. Now ph is about 7 and the temp are lower. Ihave not given them any nuts but hesi root complex.
I dont know if the soil hade to much nuts in it.

The soil usually contain enough nutes for the first 3 weeks~

Its quite hard to se at those pics.. But look at the "infimary" on the boards and compare it to the over-fert pics.. I belive youll see some resemblance..
I dunno what that root complex is, and im on the phone... So.. I cant say shit about it really.

Well, best of luck!
Stay safe!

Heya!

I have no clue how to calculate mg/liter.. (yet..) sorry.

How did you get those numbers?

The thing I find odd is the additive of Natrium in the water.. That makes no sense (errr...?)

Else then that... the flush with only water and excessive rinoff is just right! :)
