I could use a mason. See, our property is just covered with rocks, and we're in need of walls, including retaining, and fencing. Who better than a mason to help me out? Harvest the rocks from around the property to build the walls.

Win-win!

I believe in the power of group hallucinations, brain waves are powerful reflections of powerful and strange inner forces.

Personally I got no beef with masons, I use their jars all the time and they work great. :)

Hey, I'm serious. We have lots of properties in the surrounding area that are walled with local rock. Many property boundaries are made with 100% respect to these old walls (often called Chinese walls, I don't know why, though). Wouldn't it be cool to do that, instead of paying to have someone put up an ugly chain link fence? And the areas where we park, we're having to pay to have gravel hauled in because it gets too muddy in winter. And there are walkways where I would love to have paved with rocks!

Unfortunately, I'm a med patient for a reason. I did construct these walls, with a little help, though. They're very rough, and the intention was only to have them hold the slope and some extra soil into which I've planted some stuff we wanted. I let snow-in-summer and sweet allysum (or however it's spelled) grow over the rocks.
