Nevermind.
Pushed on that game. Will there be a Har-Bowl?

if you could charge the media 25 cents for every time we are going to hear about the Har-Bowl angle in the next two weeks you would be a rich man baba

but what is San Fran gonna do for a Kicker? bring back the x-raven,Cundiff>
That would please most Ravens fans. Most people here still won't use Mayflower Movers because they moved the Colts to Indy in 1983. Cundiff's: "I don't care that I missed 3 in a row because I have an MBA now" routine wasn't a big hit.

Wow. The Pats stunk up the place something fierce!

I'm taking my Niners to win against the Ravens. Flacco is gonna choke!

I agree hearing about a Harbaugh Harbaugh superbowl will be extremely annoying the next 2 weeks, that story line will get old quick yet everyone will want to report/talk about it. Also nice job by Flacco yesterday, lots of people like to rip on the guy but if you look at his body of work the guy has had an extremely solid career. Should be a good superbowl, although I have to say I was a little shocked that the 9ers D got sliced up by Ryan for 400 yards....that being said 2 weeks for each of these teams to prepare, things should be be tighten up. My biggest compliment to each team has been their O lines, they both have been giving their QB's plenty of time to do their thing. Not gonna jump the gun on picking a winner yet, rather do some research and look over numbers but for someone like me I only bet on numbers not teams...

So far from the early bets its seems as though the game opened up at SF-5 and has already dropped down to 3.5. obviously this is telling you that professional bettors/syndicates are finding lots of value in that 4.5-5 numbers with Balt. If anyone is interested you can check out sportsbook spy its the number of bets and percentages from a few major online sites and a couple Vegas casino sports books FOR FREE!, the only thing they don't tell ya is how much and where the money is, but you can easily read the lines to get an idea of that yourselves. out of 18,000 bets so far 66% is on the ravens 34% on the niners, this doesn't mean professionals love the ravens but what it really shows is value in that higher number because professional bettors more times than not take dogs, while it's us the public that jumps on the favorites. The bets won't come pouring in til 48 hrs before the game but it'll be fun to see the line jump around once the public starts throwing down...

P.S.... just a couple interesting stats

SF avgerages 8.1 yards per pass attempt, 5.1 yrds per rush attempt, and is 35.1 percent success on 3rd down conversion...On the other hand Balt averages 7.1 yards per pass attempt, only 4.3 yards per rush attempt, and is 37% success on 3rd down.... I have a hard time believing SF will allow them to throw deep on them, basically just forcing Balt to dink and dunk and try and make Ray Rice beat them on the ground, which we all know its damn near impossible to run on the niners....

Don't think Baltimore was supposed to beat SF last time either. The intangibles and transitions for Baltimore probably mean more than YTD stats. I don't bet on sports as a rule and I sure as hell wouldn't bet on this game.

Something really got me this morning watching the coaches being interviewed. Brother John was his usual self. Brother Jim was like a nervous chipmunk. Maybe that's just Jim's normal too, don't know. I do remember thinking the older brother / younger brother dynamic played a role the last time things didn't go as expected.

Should be a good game, and whoever wins will deserve it, the only thing I don't like about the 9ers D is their pass rush, since justin smith who is an animal, hurt the tricep it really affected the pass rushers like Aldon Smiths game. I feel like they haven't had many sacks the past 3-4 weeks, did they even get one against Atl? If the Ravens home run play is the deep ball to Torey Smith and the 9ers can't get a pass rush that would worry me a little... The DB's can only cover a receiver for a reasonable amount of time before they can get open.

He's a hall of famer postseason bedwetter, so you could do a lot worse.

Jim Harbaugh definitely seems more emotional than John. That tirade he threw over the Douglas play being confirmed a catch should have earned an unsportsmanlike flag, and probably will next time. He about hopped out of his pants reacting, can't really blame him, thought it was pretty clear on replay it shouldnt have been a catch, but still you gotta act like an adult out there. He fancies himself a player, with a player's intensity. That probably serves him well in coaching, but could be a detriment with officials.
So get this, John is a year older but hasnt had quite the success, in most regards, that Jim has. He wasnt a big time college player like Jim, didn't have a decent NFL career like Jim, and while he became a head coach before Jim, even he hasnt had quite the early success Jim has had (quickly turned around Stanford which is actually a very good team still, and a conf championship and superbowl appearances his first two years as an nfl coach).
So if Jim beats John in the Superbowl, will this be the ultimate knife in the sibling rivalry, like John becomes an NFL head coach before Jim but Jim wins the superbowl first?
Maybe that's why im rooting for John (Ravens), because i think a superbowl win would equalize things between them. Maybe permanently.

Baltimore local news is a wonderful thing. A sportscaster just reported that Wes Welker's wife apologized to Ray Lewis for her FB posts about his 6 children by 4 women and his acquittal. Sportscaster said: "She should have apologized for the way her husband played" and then showed clips of him dropping a pass from several angles. It just adds to the humor to know that the sportscaster "missed" a year after getting hooked on pain pills and getting himself arrested for breaking into his cancer patient neighbor's house to steal pills.

A weatherman on a different station was arrested for soliciting an undercover cop several years ago. Claimed he was trying to say he wanted her head on his TV show. His punishment was that he couldn't wear his toupee anymore.

azez, Sure hes got every reason to be upset but I personally don't think the 9ers were getting homered by the refs at all that game. The Falcons had 2-3, 15 yard personal fouls at big times...to be honest I thought they were gonna get more calls their way, but it was more than fair in my eyes. Also if I remember correctly I believe Baba is a Bears fan so I am pretty sure he could care less about west coast east coast and who he's gonna cheer for.

Also where are all the Alex Smith lovers been lately, lol....I would be thanking the ganja gods that dude got hurt and kaep had to step in. If Smith started that Falcons game their is no way you guys come back from being down 17-0, I am sorry but I've said it once and I'll say it again Alex Smith sucks. 9ers fans can appreciate a true QB now, the final piece to the puzzle to make your franchise top of the class for the next 10+ years. That being said Do you guys think Alex Smith get another chance starting somewhere else, I am sure he can find work but will he ever start again and be as successful as he was without Jim H.?
