I have smoked the original OG kush more times than you can count. i was there on overgrow when it was released. it is very strong, and smells nice but other than that it is just really strong couch lock stone. all the hybrids are just boring. There are plenty of indicas that are as good or better than O.G. kush. both my indices are better all around. That is why my people buy them for a lot more a pack, always prefer my cuts, and ask for my cuts over any of the OG's. They are getting bored with the O.G.'s

I am doubting that you have ever had a properly grown blue dream, blueberry, or pure haze. Not because you cant grow, or your connects cant grow, but growing blueberry strains to full potential is difficult. they stress easily, and are picky ladies. Blue dream is DJ short's bb x an old school haze. Blueberry is Highland Thai, purple thai, and afghani. this is then crossed with an old school ibl haze. Haze it made from imported Hawaiian herbs adapted to California light schedules. Done right the blue dream is very very potent. it is uplifting and trippy. It will give you tracers and enhance colors and music. it will make you feel floaty and electric. You can go all day on it and not finish tired or with a headache.

I like the original BB better, but blue dream grown AAA, is top notch Sativa herb, which is why it got so popular in the first place.

Myself have been indulging in mj for nearly 40 years and in all that time have I ever seen a definatvie consensus on any weed.

It is my contention that if it gets you high and you feel it was a good deal....then it is good buds.

My buds that I have grown for myself are AAA to me. They're look, taste and smell appeal to me. If I have to take another hit to get the same high...so phuquing what! I have plenty.

So they can take all their hype about strains and quality and peddle them to the dim and foolish that might be their customers.

It is amazing how we (myself included) have a tendency to over-value our work.

rofl. I guess i am showing my old school nature. I do prefer sativa. I also value all the old strains very much. I dont rate them on potency alone. It is the overall high and taste and smell.

The blue dream may not slam me to the ground like the og kush and make me forget where i am, but the blue dream lifts me up and gives me a nice lofty feeling that i can fuction with. However I dont grow her either. Blue strains are a pain in the ass compared to other sativa hybrids.

I stopped growing O.G. in favor of my other newer indicas that are stronger, have more flavor, and are better for my chrons disease. you wanted to see them. they are made from older strains though. IBL's

I am not arguing whats better I am just saying that the OG trend is coming to end soon and if you wanna get top dollar for much longer it is time to find or make new cuts. OG will always be good, just like northern lights, or blue dream will always be good, but everything is surpassed. At one time they were both viewed as the dankest of the dank. both strains will be better again in the future when the crappy cuts fall to the way side, and the cash croppers stop growing it.

right now both strains are like an over played Taylor swift song. enough with them already ffs. lol

^but for indoor dank whole sale is like 28-36 depending on what quality and where you are. People are getting 28 to 3 for og's but more for other stuff. there are texas strains that i would take over OG. like shoreline. god damn i miss that stuff. super road kill skunk pheno type.

But, IMHO, The Real OG (which I grew as my Sig Strain in my early years in Da Hobby) was a Narcotic Buzz. I say "Was" because I no longer grow it. There was nothing really Indica about it. Except perhaps its' look. But the genetics were reportedly 70% Sativa. From Boston via Colorado. It was the Chemdog Cut - The Peeps that I worked with called it OG Kush - they said that "the Hippies do not like the name having 'Chem' in it."

An Old Cutting, it was 18 when I got it, almost 30 by now. Took 65 Days or more to REALLY finish. Outdoors, in a Greenie, lovely, if ventilation is sufficient.. INDOORS, Horrible to grow due to spindly Branches, and MEGA space between Flowers, as well as 3+X Stretch. AND a Propensity to Suck Powdery Mildew from Spores even Miles away. Took at least 21 days to clone, with a success rate of about 50%, while other strains took me 10 days to truly root, with 90%+ success rate. Brought some Greenhouse Grown OG to A'Dam C-Cup, in '06 - and no one (including the C'Shop owners and Breeders) could stop screaming about it. Rightly So.

Derry, and other "AMS Luminaries" Called it the "Best Pot in town." And that if I could enter the Cup it would eassily Win. Happily trading me from their Headstashes to get their mitts on this NEW thing that got them so F'd Up, like never before, You could see that in their faces.

Yes, That's Right, based on the People who I shared it with, and the Ensuing High-Drama that occured in the following Year with Unsaid Seed Company, I am taking Credit for some of the OG Mania that took over Amsterdam almost immediately after.

I LOVE B Dream, but it is a Sativa of a different nature. A Clear, slightly edgy tasty hazey go out and do something buzz. I actually see the jar of BD emptied First - the real test of One's Preferences. It is a special Hybrid, a GREAT High, but Yes, like a song overplayed........
UNLESS, it is in the top 5% of quality. Then One can truly taste the Blue Berry and the Haze simultaneously. That;s rare.

Conversely, OG in its' real form is maybe the best High out there. Easily the Best Hash when made with an eye toward purity. Women Loved it, and no one seemed not to think it was the best around here. The Politics of not sharing the Cut with everyone I knew was a problem. Pester Pester, they did..
It Won 2 Local C Cups in a row up in a place where there was no shortage of good Flowers (Em Tri).

different strokes for different folks...some people like the narcotic OG high others like the heady euphoric high of haze hybrids.....its not worth arguing over.

its like argueing over cabernets and blancs in wine...(even though most cab drinkers will say blancs are crap lol...) which is how i compare wine to weed. cabernet sauvignon is the OG kush of wine, potent, flavorful, heavily demanded by consumers and most veteran drinkers. Blanc is like the blue dream, a little less flavorful and more of a social drink to buzz on....good cabs can fetch 100-1000$ a bottle, most blancs stay below 20 bucks...

i like blue dream its a hardy plant that yields alot and has a nice pungent incense smell, its good cash cropping herb but its not something i fiend for...

OG kush...just the thought of the lemony fuel funk goodness that one tastes after a fresh glowrod iced bong hit...oooooooohhh man gonna go break open the SFV jar right now.


ive been smoking alot of GSC, Sour D, and OG lately....the OG has the strongest overall high by far, makes you just wanna sit down and try to figure out what to do. the Sour D is 70+ days and is paranoia inducing and racy...the GSC is "party weed" its more social and functionable but not as couchlocky as OG. i can smoke an 8th of cookies and stay awake...smoke an 8th of OG and its naptime in t-minus hours.

just my opinion! everyone has their own about herb, its one of those things we LOVE to argue about!


but back on topic, theres a reason why OG kush is still fetching 28-3 and indoor blue dream is stagnant at 2-22...
