Who cares. Certainly not I. This thread is SUPPOSED to be about CALIFORNIA wholesale. Take the East Coast pissing contest to another thread imo... Maybe put CALIFORNIA in the title even though it's in the California sub-section people constantly come in here posting how much zips and eigths go for in some random state far from Cali. It's CALIFORNIA WHOLESALE. Although it is interesting to know what's going on in other parts of the country/world there should definitely be a separate thread for it. And the bickering/pissing contest just gets annoying.

On topic.. saw some nice stuff down south for 2 flat a few days ago. All fresh gh from up north. Skywalker OG, Super Silver Haze, and Sour OG... They sour og was deinitely the winner of the bunch, SSH was also very nice. BTW this was for an order of 10

530 was impressive this year. I have a few people starting to get stingy on prices out here...some guy came by my house with some sweet tooths for 14 that weren't worth a damn...fml. Otherwise all i've been seeing is good meds and good yields

guess its all who you know..some people back east are getting cali OD units for 2k wholesale, and theres folks IN california who are trying to sell that same OD for 17-18 locally....clearly some people are getting better tickets than others...

I know some people can still get 3 for really nice ins where as some other folk are letting there ins go for 18-2 because its just that time of year and they need to pay bills.

Word like I said its just hard to believe since I rocked all my outdoor gsc at 27 here and my broker sold it for 32 as ins here locally. Then my ins came down and they gave me 32 and rocked them for 36, again all locally, and in an area where a huge portion of the triangles outs funnel down through. But like prop said its all who you know.

That being said I went out with a bunch of friends last night and they told me they are already having trouble finding OG outs, still a lot of mid grade left but Id imagine that even with the huge harvest we had out here its gonna dry up quicker than last year.

^Right now the key is to find new genetics that are as dank or danker than O.G. genetics. that's not hard either. there is a million random crosses that you can make that have potential to be the next big thing.

The reasoning behind this is strains, like everything else in America, has popularity fads. O.G.'s are a dying fad. We have gotten to the point of a million different stupid O.G. cuts and people are building up a tolerance. Even GSC is about to be a thing of the past.

If you observe history fads die when people build a tolerance to a certain genetic line. Usually the next fad comes from a new line. It also usually alternates between sativa lineage and indica lineage. This is because after smoking just one for a while the other will get you much higher. try it if you dont believe me. i always do the switch up to keep things fresh. it works. people do this on a large scale even though it is unintentional for most. they just want to smoke what gets them highest.

I think your right. I also think that the bar has gone up on the outdoor meaning that people not just in Cali but nationwide are burnt on the production strain...blue dream, green crack, etc..

^Just wait, it will die out sooner than you think, as far being the "big thing." Of course a few of the better cuts will remain around in circulation, but newer and better things will come along.

As soon as indicas were introduced the fads started. I just wish more time had been vested in to developing trippy head stash sativas. There was a haze fad a while back, but there was way to many cash croppers breeding indicas into them for commercial purposes and they fucked it up. same has happened to O.G. the original cut was one of the dankest strains ever made, the original cut is like coca-cola it cant be replicated. now the name is watered down. there is O.G.'s with like 25 percent O.G. and the rest just some mass tastless high comercial yielder.

^Ya but unlimited amounts of pure og cant be found. most people can only find high yielding hybrids. hybrids trying to mimic the original are what people are getting sick of. notice nobody ever really got tired of the fad starters.

Agreed with HZ as well. Seeking new phenos of sativa-dom hybrids, and some more pure Hazes, grown from seed this last summer. And trying to create my own Boutique Market in anticipation of Legalization.
On nother note, all this BD Bashing....!
Well Grown Blue Dream is an amazing Hybrid especially grown under sun and organically. Allowed to finish. I have quite an array of strains for my head, and the BD I grew is right up there. Nothing like the incense-like odour that comes from the haze.

Having said that. To me, indoor BD, or pulled-early Outdoor is awful, and just makes my heart race without any flavour.

we are still loving these a ton in the midwest. broker man is getting the 1000-2000 indoor and outdoor from cali. we EAT IT UP in the midwest at 27-32. i assumme guys in cali sometimes broker there own to cut him out if they have good buddies

sorry to offend, true i smoke subpar quality but compared to all you talented people who make us look like amatuers, we get mostly sloppy 2nds, 3rds, and previous year flowers here. if we could grow better we would, and thus smoke better

What do you guys consider as aaa quality and less?
To me its a great smell and taste up until the last hits of a joint.
Bongs and pipes dont do aaa weed as much justice as it should, as youre getting mostly fresh green hits. Joints really bring out the pros and cons and can tell how well it was grown and flushed as the resin keeps piling up with possible nasties accumulating. With a pipe even unflushed weed can taste great.
To me it looks like your market is getting flooded with crap and there are not enough people that care for top quality.

In holland there is a similar situation, lots of buds that are b quality or purposely contaminated even! But prices dont drop, the aaa stuff is just fetching ridiculous prices now. Mostly those are longer flowering hazes, or hyped cuts from usa, grown flushed and cured perfectly though. Its a sad situation imo. There is still very good weed to be found for the old prices, though its a complete gamble, shop owners are dumb assholes or maybe theyre smart assholes. And it will rarely have the aaa pungent dank organic smell/cure/taste.
And then offcourse they also try to sell shit for the same ridiculous prices.
Me, ive had it with the shops. Its a lowlife criminal scene with few good people in it. Fuck their shit, i prefer any wellflushed weakass outdoors over risking a big ripoff chance.

As long as you have a veg room you can pull 6 harvests a year (every 60 days)....12 lights x 1.5 lbs per = 18 lbs per harvest.....18 lbs x $2500 per = $45,000....$45,000 x 6 harvests = $270,000 per year before expenses...After expenses you will be making around $175,000 per year...Now thats a decxent living....Dont you think?....


Here in Socal its very easy to get a hold of a decent OG or Kush cut from any of the clubs or if you know someone...You should then be able to get $2500 per pound minimum easily over here!

That makes very much sense. You cant expect to do halfassed grows that only yield. 5gpw and expect to make top dollar in a market with a lot of competition. Better get pro, or accept not getting top dollar. In a legal industry you would be losing money.
I mean im a noob indoor grower that likes to try new things and messes up stuff every time and always get around or more than. 5gpw with different strains from seed, only one lamp, in rooms that are below minimum growing temps. How hard can it be to get more than that?

Most dream packs I see are garb, but a couple friends this year had some really impressive harvests...one had some full season od bd test 22% thc...not too bad. Nevertheless, I don't have any in my medicine cabinet lol i like the smell but otherwise it's just not for me.

Depending on where you live, you can turn 2k into 4-6k. If you're making that much, then you're probably buying nice stuff. If you're not doing that, then you're probably undercutting competitor's prices. Both of those attract negative attention. Plus in order to get those packs you have to perform sketchy tasks... Might as well charge someone more, so that they sell it hopefully more low key, and God forbid if/when something happens to them you can bail em out and take care of em. Non-med states are a bitch.

Maybe my ideas of the game suck, idk.

blue dream is great genetics, and if grown side by side next to og and both were the original cut and done to their full potential i would take the blue dream. The Og is just boring indica. the blue dream has character.
