Yeah.....All my old head hippie ass mad scientist organic growbro`s have those cone tanks for their vortex brewed AACT`s.....and Icky.....

325 gal pest control tanks they put in pickup trucks for residential applications is what I ran at all my locations , and came with bulkheads pre-installed like Mr D`s.......

My ebb and flow bucket rooms had "thru-hull " bait aerators that kept shit in suspension , along with millions of microscopic bubbles for dissolved oxygen timed feeds 3-4 times a day......but....

With coco the cheap powerheads take care of all the rez stirrage to help alleviate anything precipitating out of suspension/solution ftw.....and......

There`s ways to create "DIY" cheap rez bulkheads with gray electrical pvc fittings that`re self-sealing and O-rings in the plumbing section of the big box stores.......just tryin ta help.....

Barrels and cattle troughs is cheap , but my pest control tanks were kinda pricey , so as budget or the need provides.......anyways.....

Rock on D Bro.....and.....

Peace.....Freds.......:ying:.....

LOVE the through hull bait aerator idea... love it...

Though this is my first time chiming in I've been keeping up with this thread, great job D. Guys like you and Freds really serve as inspiration, thanks for the knowledge. I was just curious if you ever hooked up the Hayward solenoid? I ordered a 1/2 inch Hayward for my top drip/DTW tables and was wondering how its working for you if so?

Welcome to ICmag Junior :tiphat:. Glad to hear you have found this thread inspirational. To answer your question, yes I have. The hayward has been hooked up to a temporary drip system for the jack herer. Thus far it's worked flawlessly. Just plugged it into a cap dnt short cycle timer and let it do it's thing . I'll be moving it into the rack room next week. Very happy with it so far.

Considering going into bio fuels  DMK momma and more clones in a tote.....

Sgapetti, this is for you bro. The males are the four plants on the right side against the wall. They were really looking like shit a week ago, all passed their stress tests with flying colors . To give a better idea of how much stress testing they've been through, these males were planted at the same time the dount plants were. Thinking i'll take clones off these and flower them out to collect pollen.

Supposed to be the mother of the original seed strain. Can't confirm that, but she is some grade A shit . I bet if you asked bobble real nice, sometime in the near future you could add her to your collection ;)

It's good to see someone else is as good at cultivating algae as me... :moon:

Don't go getting anyone's hopes up... There's a good chance I could kill anything that makes it. I am still the world's worst gardener...

I hear it's a hot ticket in south america, Maybe we're in the wrong industry bro. I didn't even try to grow all that algae and it's taking over, actually have to work at growing good weed :moon:

I have some nice orangeish red algae that grows on my mix buckets. It is not the nice green color of yours. Sigh someday maybe I will be as good as you two.

Hey, with mine and bobble's "expert" guidence, you too could become a world class algae farmer

thx brother for the males shots, the one on the far right looks very vigorous and sativa dominant, hopefully you find some killer males to play with. I have sexed the new crosses for the next run @ 12/12, they are back in veg now but i am taking shots with one week in between to make it easier to follow the progress, as soon as i find a place/3D to upload them i let you know.
Peace S

Just a quick update as i'm busier than two rabbits fucking.

Breeding room romulan on day 14. A bit stunted because I over did the ph down, and didn't correct it before leaving for a week. They'll bounce back though, no worries. Just a few to many irons in the fire atm, and these plants are suffering for it...... Priorities and all that shit.

picture.php

And the donuts. Also suffered abit this last week or so, I bumped the timer so they weren't getting nearly enough water. Bit of burn and lockout as a result. All fixed now.....

picture.php

Might suck at growing herb, but I've accidentally mastered growing algae

picture.php

And a preview of what i'm up to in the rack room. Two 400w CMH and ballasts, soon to replace one of the 600's for better light spread.

The male on the right is my #1 pick also. He's a destroyer that most resembles the pheno i'm seeking. Also shares the smell when I rub his stem .

hey Mister_D, just taggin in to soak up some of that knowledge. gonna start this one on pg1 tomorrow...

Lots of goodness in here, hope you enjoy the read .

Are the Romulan still in coco, just handwatered?

Also, what's w those tags? If I didn't know any better, I'd think it said MARIGOLD at the top and had a picture of a .. Marigold, or something similar. :)

SRGB suggested spraying H2O2 to kill mold and algae... I forget the concentration, but I'd get the strong stuff. I used bleach. No more algae. :) I mean it's not a big deal, until the blooms start dying off and you get new blooms growing on top of the old ones... and then fungus gnats start buzzing around... lol

I like the 2 400's... and the extra 200w for 2k... Are you gonna hang them in the middle? That's how I'd do it. or 600 - 400 - 600- 400... That would be a more even spread.

Those romulan (and everything but clones in cups) are in my version of chow mix (coco, chips, and floordry). The ones under three blockbusters are on a flood/drain table, so no hand watering. The donuts are also auto watered via gravity fed selenoid hooked to a drip setup . Tags are just for strain identification, and start date of flower. Just a lil stake with an area to write on, can be found in the garden section of any home depot etc.

Hadn't considered using h2o2 for the algae. I do have several gallons of 35% on hand for other things. Plan was to spray bleach, rinse the fuck out of it, then add pond enzymes to the res to eat the dead matter. As for the 400's, you must have read my mind. That's exactly how I plan to implement them. I figure if we've capped the watts at 2000, I may as well be taking full advantage . That and I heavily researched these bulbs a couple years back. Satisfied myself they are the real deal, just never pulled the trigger. Now that I have a room to experiment in, it's whatever to try new things. Thinking automatic ph dosers are next on the list..........

Side note..... The chem died :moon:. One of the nightmares might pull through. USD and Strawberry DD are both kickin like chicken.
